When he first came in he told us there was the gas cap light that comes and goes.it was intermittent we did a diagnostic and found no evap codesWe explained to him he had performance codesThey were PO300, 301,302,303,304, POBANK 1, PO0031, POThere was a updated crankcase vent
that went on this carWe doubled checkand this kit solved the problemWe talked to the customer, and explained that there was no evap codes at this time. He came back a few day later and we found the evap code for the purge valveAt this time we smoke the system before we put the part onWe also explain to the customer that the leak detection pump might be bad as well We did resmoke and there was no leaksWhen he came back we found the ldp to be bad. He did say the car ran better then it has in awhileHe just wanted the light out.When I called him today he did understand and remembered that talk we had about the leak detection pump. He just found fixing his car a little expensiveWe are replacing the Leak detection Pump he is going to pay for the part and we are going to be paying for the laborHe was fine with that, and will be in tomorrow for the repairs.
