I would strongly encourage you not to utilize Geek IT in AtlantaThey came out and solved one problem, but created two more and then blamed it on other providersThe two issues were fine before they came and broken the minute they leftThey offered to fix the issues, but would charge meThey would not claim responsibilityIn speaking to the owner, he was flippant and rudeNow I have to undo the damage and have wasted two days to get back to where I started

This company is really awfulI had a cracked screen on my ipadTook them a month to even call me After I called - they had to send it to another store - I got it back and it was not even secure The sides were popping up ( I fixed that myself after they would not email me back) days later - the screen will not respond And guess what? They will not call me back or email me back Stay away from this company You would be better off to find someone on a street corner needing dinner to fix your electronics These people probably make min wage and learning on the job training Be AWARE of this company

I returned my *** *** on May 23, to Geek IT, because the repairs they did previously caused the motherboard to stop charging my laptopGeek IT has a policy to inform their customers with update tracking as long as they have your propertyEach time I initiated contact, they told me they are ordering a new motherboard that would take about 7-days to delivered to their storeEventually it became "we need more time to get the partWe had to reorder through another supplier"I explained to them how inconvenient and how much of a strain it is without my laptopMy daughter needed the laptop by June 20, because she was starting an online summer classThey gave me another date that the part would come in and also gave a loaner at that time (It was a much older *** laptop and was extremely slow)Then that next deadline passedI also stressed with them that my daughter would be starting her school year on August 8, I have called every week to get an update on my laptopFinally I called for an update on July and they gave no explanation and said they will have the owner, ***, call me and give me a updateAnd by the way, I have yet to hear from the owner for explanation or excuse or even an apology and I have received no customer satisfaction at allOn August 10, I went into the shop and a technician named *** asked me did I hear from the owner, ***, and I said noHe called and demanded that he talk to me nowAt that point it was evident that he did not want to talk to meFrom May to August I have not had my child's laptop in our possession and it has been an inconvenience and a headache with no resolution

dropped of [redacted] on 8/14/2014 for cracked screen. replaced screen but now unit will not function. still not repaired or replaced.have on file ticket number [redacted] showing working [redacted] dropped off for screen replacement. have made multiple attempts at resolution. no returned call from owner [redacted]. several employees have expressed concern over lack of follow thru by owner. Want a resolution to prevent any legal action.Desired SettlementI only desire that I get a repaired [redacted] that works. I carried in a unit that was working but had a cracked screen. It is beyond belief that now some 9 months later I am still attempting to get resolution. It is absolutely unacceptable. I have made attempts to contact the owner. Went to the location on three separate occasions. Not a single return phone call and no follow up after leaving messages for the owner. Perhaps the largest lack of customer service ever witnessed.

My husband [redacted] dropped off my son's 8 pad at the beginning of December for repair.There has been no response from Geek it in five weeks.My husband [redacted] dropped of my son's I pad in the beginning of December for repair of a cracked screen. He picked it up and made payment for repair on December 16, 2015. When trying to use I pad we discovered it did not work and returned if for repair that day. I waited two weeks before trying to contact thme about a pick up date. I have left at least 7 messages on the voice mail and have gone to the store on several occasions and it is always closed and I have not received any call backs. I'm not sure if they are going out of business or what? But it has been four weeks and I am still unable to contact Geek iT in Dunn, NC. Desired SettlementI would like to have my son's I pad back and if it is still not repaired then I would like a refund of the payment we already made.

I dropped off my daughter's computer for repair Jan.9th 2015 for a power issue. The gentleman told me he would have it ready in about 2 weeks. After the time elapsed and zero contact from geek it,I reached out to them. They gave me a story, about they were still working it. Geek it continued to give me excuse after excuse for the next 2 months. In April they told me they need to order a LCD screen and that it would be ready in a week after the screen came in. I called several times a week asking about the status, and they said it came in and they would get back with me in a week. That week never came. This continues through May and June. I asked for my computer back, and the money spent for the LCD screen which they said "we ordered the wrong part". They gave me my computer back in worse condition than I gave it to them after 6 months. I have been back and forth to the business for my refund which they said was refunded back to the credit card, which turned out not to be true. Geek iT cracked my frame to my laptop and I cannot get in touch with the owner or receive a call back from him after trying for 7 days.2/17/2016 : Took laptop to Geek iT. [redacted] charged 50.00 to my debit card. Told me it would take approximately two weeks to replace my cracked screen and in the $120.00 price range. Left laptop at Geek iT.3/2/2016: Called Geek iT to receive an update. Left message. No return call.3/4/2016: Received a ticket update email stating the computer screen came in.3/14/2016 (approx. 11 am): Called Geek iT to find out why it was taking so long for repair. [redacted] answered and said that he sent an email that said he was waiting for my laptop in order to repair it. Told him that I left the laptop their on 2/17. He put me old hold and looked for my laptop. He came back and said that he did not put the laptop in the correct place and that he would fix it immediately and have it ready in an hour. I told him I would be there in an hour to pick it up. Got there in an hour and there was a "service call" note on the door which stated they were out and would be back soon. I came back an hour later, note still there. Came back two hours later, note still there. Called and left a message to call me on their return. No call back. Called back around 4pm and got [redacted] on the phone. He said he would be there until 6 so I went to pick it up. The total came up to $120 which totaled $170.00 ($50.00 from original estimate).Got home, opened laptop, the frame to the screen is cracked. Called Geek iT, no answer, left a voicemail letting them know what had happened. [redacted] called back immediately and apologized. Said he would talk to his manager and order a new frame for the computer. 3/15/2016: Called back at 11:30 asked to speak with the Manager, [redacted]. He was not available. I asked [redacted] to give him my phone number and to contact me ASAP. No return call.3/16/2016: Called and left a message for [redacted] to call me back. Contacted [redacted] via facebook and let him know the issues and that I would like a partial refund and a statement stating that the screen was $113.00 which was what the receipt said it was. 3/17/2016: Called and left a message for [redacted] to call me back.3/18/2016: Called and left a message for [redacted] to call me back.3/21/2016: Called, [redacted] answered, told me that he was trying to contact [redacted]. Told him to please give him my name and phone number and to contact me ASAP. Ticket number: 8382Desired SettlementI am seeking a refund for my services from Geek iT due to the time and money I have wasted only to have my computer returned in broken condition. This money will be taken to another company in order to fix the damage that Geek iT done to the frame of my computer screen. I do not trust this company and will not allow them to repair the damage they have caused mostly due to the fact that the repair service takes too long and I cannot be without my computer for a month in order for another repair to be made and due to the fact that I can never get in touch with anyone in person or over the phone.

Defective Product, Poor ServicePaid close to $10k for 2 custom built servers on/around 10/5/15. Was told via email it should take about a week to get them together. Excuse after excuse from family medical emergencies to internal staff issues, it took almost a month to get the servers to me. When they arrived, screws were loose, manuals and keys missing, no [redacted] serial code stickers. Go to plug them in, and one never booted up right, called GeekIT, spoke to [redacted], who instructed me to check internal components and I found hard drives disconnected. Plugged them back in, and it still did not work, at that point he sent me a file to do a new install of [redacted]. Got [redacted] set up, minus drivers that were needed. On both of the servers, they were both running extremely hot from the start. I spent atleast a week chasing around [redacted] and his crew to get answers and resolutions, and at one point, I pulled the servers, took them to a place in Dallas, who looked over them, and said they installed the wrong memory and fans, and the overall build on these units was very poor. A hard drive also failed. Several times I emailed and made attempts to contact [redacted]/geekit to get refunded for the replacement parts and having the dallas guy repair them, and he simply ignores me, mind you, in actuality, he owes me much more than what I am asking for because of my time and hotel stays...these have a l year warranty, and he has not honored one bit of it./////Desired SettlementI want full refund of the receipts that I emailed[redacted]. If he wants the hardware, he can add an additional $20 to the refund amount, as I am done spending money on this. I want the full refund in the form of a check to my company. A store credit will NOT suffice./////
