They did come out, several days after they were suppose to, put the new part on and left*** called to see if they had fixed it, it's hard to say yes when we haven't lost power and won't know until we do and I told her so*** came out and checked it, which those who fixed it didn't doThey didn't test it to see if it was working*** claims that it is working fine, we'll see when we lose powerAs I stated in my initial report, I want a new generator, I want them to replace this lemon that we have with a new oneWe thousands of dollars on something that has worked times since we've had it and we've needed itlost power, several times and was left in the dark, with a piece of crap generator that doesn't work

It's not acceptable for Generac Power Systems to take two months to tell me it was not under warrantyI was up front on my first phone call my unit was a I couldn't find a authorized dealership that could find the problemMy call was turned over to the resolution departmentThat department asked me to give them receipts from the companies that had performed work on my generatorI complied and Generac Power Systems didn't give me a name of a dealership until I asked for them to provide me with oneThey are not taking responsibility for their actionsI finally found a dealership that was able to repair my unit for $dollarsI resolved my own problem without any assistance from Generac Power SystemsMy linkage was gummed up in the throttle body which caused my generator a uneven speed

Generac Power Systems would like to thank Mr*** for contacting us regarding the problems he is having with his purchase of his Generac Power Washer. A Generac Power Systems customer service department agent has been in contact with Mr*** and have reviewed the unit storage procedure
found in the owners manual. The power washer was not stored in accordance with the instructions provided and the the failure (gummed up carb) is not something that is covered under the factory warranty.Regards,Generac Power Systems

warranty coverage timeframeFor this reason, Generac cannot assist the
customer financially with

Generac has reached out to the consumer and explained that there was no recall on our productGenerac has also already offered this end user a one-time concession in June of 2015, while their warranty coverage was parts only, to cover the labor of a stepper motorThis generator is years out of

Good morning, this is in response to ur most recent letterIt's been a few weeks since complaint filed, the techs arrived last Thursday, weeks after last contact, picked up unit and left, said didn't know when they would returnOur biggest issue to date is the piss poor communication and customer careIn their mind, as long as they are nice and apologize a bunch of times, then the customer should b happy and wait and wait and waitIt's absurdI am now running borrowed small portable gas gennys, neither of them wrked properly, had to be repaired, and being at 8200ft in altitude were getting a combined 2kw of power on winter nights when it takes as much just to run blower on our wood stove and keep water runningIt's horrible, we paid almost a year ago for a functioning sustainable advertised power source, we have been in warranty mode since month 2!, have had units installed by "Generac techs" and units installed wrong apparently, our old, used gennys have ran longer than the brand new standby we boughtNeither Generac nor Rocky Mountain power have offered a loaner, actually I've asked multiple times and have been refused out right or met with ridiculous excusesI've been in business alot of years before retiring, this is like a sick jokeCustomer service is truly non existent, I've been treated very poorly by both companies, I'm amazed some businesses have lowered the bar of whats acceptable service so lowZero priority, zero sense of urgency, zero care that they're causing stress and suffering to a family who trusted the advice and guidance of a supposed well regarded companyWe're all just stunned and disgusted that almost a year later were still in the same position were began in dealing with power issues and after obtaining $loanWe took a loan to buy new solar batteries and a good generator to keep them charged properly, well needless to say since the generator has been nonfunctional, the batteries have not been able to maintain a proper chargeNow we have ruined batteries and no generator and 4yrs left to pay for a loan for absolutely nothingI've expressed this as well to generac on multiple occasions, as u can see by the position were still in, they cared notThis has truly been a nightmare and the worst consumer experience myself or anyone I know has experienced

A repair person came out last week and put in a new motor and did a few other repairs and I am happy to report that the generator is functioning properly Many thanks for your diligence in getting this problem resolved. dealerships outlined by country/zip code are available for all consumers on our website prior to purchase.If the consumer is looking to have this replaced locally by a non-authorized person, they are welcome to do so, however there would be no warranty assistanceThis would mean the consumer would need to order the parts from www.ordertree.com.Generac is more than happy to cover the parts and labor under warranty for any failure deemed a manufacturing defect, however that would need to be determined by an independent authorized dealership, who would then need to do the repairThe costs associated to fly a technician over to where the consumer is located, are also the responsibility of the consumer, as outlined in the warranty statement.Regards,Generac Power Systems
