customer approved vendors who we forward any and all customer information to that is provided to us pertaining to paintSpecifications, instructions, requirements etc. The parts we fabricated and had painted were inspected by our QC manager, the painters QC department and were accepted and inspected by the customer who filed this complaintThey were made exactly as we were instructed to by customer documentation therefore the defects the customer found were unrelated to our company. We have no time limit policy for customer returns at General A&EThis is why the statement regarding "5-months time had passed and this is why we did not take back the parts" is false. If you would like to see any supporting documents please do not hesitate to ask as we have backup drawings, emails & harassing voicemails from this particular disgruntled customer. Review: General A&E is a metal fabricating company. We selected them to manufacture a bracket assembly per our drawing package. Upon receiving the parts and performing our incoming inspection the parts seemed acceptable. The parts were not used immediately so they sat in storage for 5-6 months. During the time the parts were stored the plating began to bubble and flack off around solder joints. When we took the parts out to use and found this problem we contacted General A&E to ask them about repairing the brackets. Their response was, since they were supplied supplied 5-6 months ago and during that period we have dissolved our working relationship that is not their problem. Having been in this industry for years and having dealt with at least 50-60 similar shops over that time, I have never dealt with such an unprofessional organization. The person we were dealing with is one of the owners, [redacted]. I am appalled with the attitude and treatment we have received. Ms. [redacted] is the most unprofessional person that I have dealt with in 25 years in this industry.Desired Settlement: I would either like these brackets repaired at no cost or I would like our money refunded.
