my mother had appointment with Dr. Belyea and Dr. Wong for eye surgery, was given a referral to purchase a special chair that she need. well dr. Wong didn't do the surgery and now my mother is out of $189. I need a resolution to get my mom her money back.

Review: I received a notice from [redacted]. informing me that I had not paid a bill with GW Medical Fac. Assoc. I only received one bill from GW Hospital in June and I paid it in full ($550). When I called the phone number on that bill they said that we did not have an outstanding balance and that they didn't not send my information to a collection agency. They informed me that GW Hospital and GW Medical Fac. are different groups so they gave me the phone number for GW Medical Fac.

I called GW Medical Fac. number on Oct. 28th and inquired, however, I didn't have an account or statement number since they NEVER billed me. At that point the receptionist said she would not be able to help me since the medical services were for my husband. I understand that they can not release his medical information, however, that isn't what I was asking for, and my concern is that they sent the bill to a collection agency in MY NAME. She told me she couldn't discuss the issue, so I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. She connected me to the voicemail of Celestine C[redacted] and I left a message and never heard back. I then visited the Revdex.com website to find out that I am not the first person with this complaint.Desired Settlement: I find it completely unethical to send someone to a collection agency if you NEVER billed them. Moreover, you can't refuse to speak to me if I am the person you sent to the collection agency. I would love for an explanation and a BILL and to know whether or not this issue has been resolved. Was this bill ever sent to my issuance company?
