Review: I was given a gift certificate for Ger Nis in the amount of $130.00. Every time I registered for a class it was cancelled at the last minute. Every time I tried to contact Ger Nis there was no answer by phone and answers by email, if I received them, were rude, short and completely unprofessional. Classes started to become much less frequent, and they were not frequent to begin with. Then classes disappeared. Every attempt at contacting Ger Nis has been ignored. I would have been happy to take classes there but at this point I cannot even trust that their classes ever actually existed. Their [redacted] page is updated frequently but the owner is unresponsive. The lack of response is complete unprofessional and frankly, disrespectful. I doubt she would put up with it from a company she purchased something from. She has not been able to provide the service that was paid for and I would like a refund to be issued either to me or to the purchaser of the gift card.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

Review: My husband purchased a gift certificate for 2 to attend a cooking class ($120) in February 2013. Since then, I have checked their website repeatedly to try to register for a class but there are no classes offered. I have tried contacting them via phone (number disconnected), email (no response), and [redacted] (no reply).Desired Settlement: I want a refund since they no longer provide classes.

Review: I received a gift certificate for $100 from Ger-Nis for Christmas in 2012. I have tried on multiple occasions to schedule a cooking class in order to redeem this gift, and the company has consistently failed to respond to repeated phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages.Desired Settlement: I would like them to call me back, apologize, and, although their policy states they will not refund gift certificates, given the good faith and unsuccessful effort I have made to redeem this certificate, I think it's only fair that they refund me the amount in full.
