Review: Mr. G[redacted] took the deposit, said his mother was ill, made 15 excuses why he couldn't give the deposit back. He stills owes the full deposit. He did no work. Very simply I want the money back.Desired Settlement: Money returned IMMEDIATELY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: [redacted] renovated a first floor rental apartment at my house. The apartment was guttered out prior to [redacted] started worked. The job entailed installing a new bathroom, kitchen (appliances not included), laminate wood floors in the kitchen, dining room and hallway, and replacing windows. I paid [redacted] $40,000 for the renovation. Some of the laminate wood boards in the dining room sink down when stepped on. One of the lower kitchen cabinets contains a drawer that was damaged. Every time you open the drawer it falls off the track on the left side. The cabinet was also damaged on the side. There are three chipped off pieces on the outer side of the cabinet. Also with the same cabinet, when the formica countertop was installed, the screw that was used was too long and it went through the top of the formica countertop creating a crack and a hole. When I made [redacted] aware of it, he proceeded to hammer down the tip of the screw that was sticking out of the countertop. I contacted [redacted] and told of the problem and that if the drawer could not be repaired properly, it need to be replaced and the countertop also need to be replaced. The cabinet and countertop are approximately 36 incles in length. [redacted] proceeded to tell me that a new cabinet would cost $400.00. I do not believe that because the cabinets are not of a highend quality. In October and November of 2013, I attempted to contact him many times and left a number of messages and he does not return my calls.Desired Settlement: I paid [redacted] a lot of money. I want the kitchen cabinet and countertop replaced. It's not right that I paid so much money and now I have to a damaged cabinet and countertop.
