*** *** We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience that this transaction may have causedBone Dry Interiors/Exteriors is a division of Bone Dry Roofing and is stated on our *** *** Profile. We have consistently won the *** *** Super Service award for both Bone Dry Roofing
and Bone Dry Interiors/Exteriors for many, many yearsWe absolutely were not intending to be deceitful in quoting your insulation, nor in representing our businessIt seems that there was just set of circumstances that led us/you to have a miscommunication and misunderstanding of what occurredFirstly, from time to time, we offer coupons on different products and services through different outlets like Angie’s List These rotate out and are available at different times and for different amounts/products. Each project is different, but in an effort of simplicity, we try to setup the promotion as it would be for majority of the projects we do. As such, the coupon in question is for a project that is not quite as large in scope as what our sales rep had quoted for you originally. Again, in an effort to keep things simple, we would still honor the coupon that you had purchased and done the work at the agreed upon coupon priceSecond, with the coupons being available at different times for different products, as much as we try to keep our sales team informed, they may occasionally not be aware of a certain deal that is being offered at a given time and therefor quote the project based upon the standard pricingAgain, we are very sorry for the confusion, and our offer still stands to honor the *** *** coupon and do your project.” Judd *** General Manager Bone Dry Roofing, Inc

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] my complaint is that I was not made aware then that insurance could very well have replaced my roof  in 2012 because the shingle was no longer available. The gentleman from Bone Dry stated to me 3 days ago that they were not aware the loose shingles were from storm damage, he's pretty sure my insurance would not have covered it and that any wind storms in this area were after 2012. I am single and knew nothing about roofs but I do know loose shingles are usually weather related, the major wind storm that came through here was either 2008 or 2009 and how can he guess what my insurance would have covered. They received  1500$ for repairs instead of informing me to get insurance to look at it first. I guess iit's a courtesy and good business to let the customer know this.

Dear Revdex.com, We have included the Customer Experience Information at the bottom of this Email. In 2012, we performed a repair at the customer’s home.  At that time, we informed the customer ( on the contract ) that the shingle was no longer available and that there would be color variation....

She accepted the repair , we performed the service, and the roof has not leaked since. If the roof has subsequently been damaged by a weather event, her Insurance carrier is still liable to replace or repair the roof depending on the extent of the damage. We have spoken with the customer, and she has refused to share the information her Insurance Carrier is providing her, so we are unclear if we would be able to assist her in getting her roof replaced ( or repaired again ).  We have individuals on our team with previous insurance experience , and we would be glad to see if we could ask to meet with her Insurance Carrier again to see if we might be able to get the roof replaced. We strongly believe that this is not a legitimate complaint, and that we have no liability in this situation.  We fully disclosed (See Attached Contract). before we completed the repair, that the shingle no longer was manufactured and that there would be color variations.  She has not had any problems for over 4 years with the work that we performed.  Her frustration should more likely be with her Insurance carrier, that they are unwilling to replace a roof with a discontinued shingle, even if all that may be required to fix the roof is to repair it.  (Please note that we wold be glad to assist this conversation, but she has refused that offer)We would be glad to discuss this further and answer any questions.

When the initial phone call from [redacted] came into our office, we responded to [redacted] many times via the phone number she provided. Our general manager made a trip to her house and talked with her about the air draft she felt at the window ledge, which was above and on the other side of...

the work we completed on the outside of her home. She had no complaints about the masonry work we did for her. We explained to her that it may be an insulation issue that she was feeling and that we had not removed any material from the home when we did the brick work outside. Over time Karen insisted that the error was on our part even though we made multiple trips to her home and removed a portion of the inside wall for her and showed her that there was no insulation and the original board was on the outside between our work and the inside of the house.  We completed as of 7/2/15, a repair at no charge to [redacted], removing the inside plaster, insulating the wall & finishing the outside with drywall & paint. We completed this repair because Our missionis to ensure peace of mind for each customer through exceptional service. We believe that even though we were correct in our diagnosis, we want [redacted] as a life long client of [redacted]. We feel that we went over and above what was expected and delivered a quality product of workmanship and professionalism. On our follow up call to [redacted] when this work was completed, Karen agreed that she had made a mistake and was extremely happy and satisfied with our company and apologized for wrongly accusing Bone Dry of an error. We believe if you discuss this matter with Karen, she will convey the same information.    Sincerely,   Aaron P[redacted] General Manager [redacted] Masonry 317.489.6400 Office 317.408.6521 Cell www.BoneDry.com
