I will start by saying that transmission work/repair is not cheap. Be prepared to drop some hard earned money as even a tranny service/tuneup will cost a couple of hundred bucks. That said, I have had this shop do my work and have a history of over 10 years with them.
They did a rebuild for me some time ago, and did similar for my nephew not long ago. Just had them do cooling lines on another truck, along with a tran cooler that failed.
As stated, this kind of work is pricey. Here at Ace I am comfortable paying that price as they do quality work, charge fairly and truly look out for the customer.
I say that as I come from a mechanic family. I grew up watching my father doing it all, and learned from him. His years at dealerships and the home 2 bay shop was my classroom. (Thanks Dad!) Today, I don't have that to my avail, but I know a good shop when I see it. You will not go wrong here, but remember you pay for what you get, and get what you pay for!
