Review: In February I had a window replaced. I was happy with the installation but when we hit our first 100 degree day the window cracked. When I contacted them to look at the window and repair it they came out and looked at it. The technician came out, took pictures, and informed me he would talk to his boss, who was the owner of the company. After waiting about 3 weeks with no response I called them to fin out what was going on. I talked directly to [redacted], the owner, and he said looking at the pictures it looked like something impacted the window. I stated I was right there when it happened and stated nothing ever impacted the window. He stated that the technician also stated this to me at the time of the inspection which he did not. He offered talk to the technician again and also have me on the call which never happened. I waited another three weeks and was never called back. I called [redacted] again and he offered this time to come out which he did. He stated there was what looked like an impact point on the glass but could not explain how it happened when my gas grill sits about two feet in front of the window and would talk to his glass distributor and call me back. I again waited three weeks with no call back. I tried to call the company several times to receive a call back from [redacted] and it took several days to finally get a returned call. He then informed me that the only thing he could do was give me a discounted replacement.Desired Settlement: To have the glass replaced under the warranty.

I, [redacted] (Owner), followed-up on this complaint. Mr.

[redacted] had a new dual pane window replaced on 02/07/2013. On 06/03/2013, we

received a call from Mr. [redacted] stating that his glass broke due to the

heat. On 06/04/2013, we sent one of our lead glaziers out to inspect the

damage. [redacted] found that the outside window pane had a clearly visible

impact point on the glass where it had broke and took the attached picture. He

also removed the glazing bead around the glass to verify any possible edge

damage and found none. He also confirmed the glass dimensions to be correct.

[redacted] informed both the customer and [redacted] (shop manager) of his findings.

[redacted] (Co-Owner and Shop Manager), spoke to Mr. [redacted] on several occasions

and offered a significant discount on a new window and explained to him that we

cannot cover impacts under warranty. He also informed Mr. [redacted] that he

may obtain a second opinion from another reputable glass company. Mr.

[redacted] insisted on [redacted] looking at the damage himself in which [redacted]

agreed. On 07/10/2013, [redacted] looked at the broken window and confirmed

[redacted]'s findings. [redacted] again offered a significant discount on a new

replacement window.

As of 07/25/2013, If Mr. [redacted] would like to take advantage of this

significant discount we are still willing to help this unfortunate matter. In

addition, if he would like to obtain a second opinion from another reputable

(licensed, bonded, insured) company we would be open to reconsider our stance.

Excellent customer service when I called in to get help filing glass claim. I was on the phone less than 10 minutes and everything was taken care of! Technician showed up promptly and did quality work! $50 cash was just an added bonus!! Very pleased customer here.

I just had Glass Tek replace a windshield in my truck. The technician performing the service was on-time and very neat and very thorough. He took the time to talk with me and explain exactly what he was doing and why. When he finished, he cleaned up all of the mess associated with the job--both outside and inside my vehicle. I am very pleased with both the caliber of work they do and with the quality of the replacement windshield. I have used them previously and will continue to use them should the need arise again.

Glas Tek has just left my house in Avondale AZ. “[redacted]” removed my cracked front picture window and back patio window and replaced them both. [redacted] from Glas Tek displayed a professional demeanor the entire time he was working here. He was positive and confident in his approach to the project. He explained the process of the window replacement and happily answered all of my questions.

Upon successful completion of the project, [redacted] vacuumed the floor and cleaned all of the glass that he replaced.

The cost of Glas Teks service was not met by any of their competitors. The most reasonable by far.

Excellent experience. Same day service and was able to locate a side window for an older 1990 Chrysler. Very helpful, personable, and knowledgeable installer. It took a little while longer since an older car & older part(s) on the inside of the door, but all was successful.

My experience starts with [redacted], when I called Glastek and explained my windshield was cracked and I had never replaced one before, she took her time with me and walked me through all of the steps I needed to do to get my windshield replaced. [redacted] was amazing. Today [redacted] came to my residence to replace the broken glass. This young man was polite, attentive, professional, mannerly and explained everything to me. Both [redacted] and [redacted] possess superior customer service skills!!!!
