Glass 4 U LTD

Review: Repeated delay of glass installation led to our inquiry with the State of Oregon CCB. CCB says [redacted] has not been licensed with CCB for two years and could face a $5k fine just for bidding on our window replacement. Be advised, do not solicit Glass 4 U ([redacted] to do any glass work until they can prove they are licensed with the CCB, and be aware of poor service. Desired Settlement: No charge for work that wasn't performed.

Delay's that occurred on this job were no fault of Glass 4 U or [redacted]. The glass that was ordered for this job came from the manufacturer scratched. It was sent back to be redone at the factory which caused a delay in instillation time. A further delay was incurred by the glass supplier being unable to deliver the glass for another two days. In all it would have been less than a week.

On the day that the glass was suppose to be delivered [redacted] called the owners informed them of the delay and went by to clean up any and all broken glass and ready the job for instillation as soon as the glass was shipped.

When the owner saw that the window had been cleaned and repaired to the extent it was ready for the instillation of the glass when it arrived the owner called Glass 4 U and asked, "What will it cost for your time done right now."

The owner had stated it was an emergency originally and asked how fast Glass 4 U could get it done. [redacted] then went out after hours, measured the glass gave the owner a quote and was told by the owner to proceed as quick as possible. Normally it would have been fine and it still would have been done in less than a week unfortunately due to unforeseen manufacturing and shipping issues that were beyond Glass 4 U's power it was not done as quick as either the owner or Glass 4 U had wanted it to be done.

When the owner was dissatisfied with Glass 4 U they proceeded to contact Revdex.com and lodge a complaint. In so doing they typed in Glass 4 U and found that the CCB number was an old number and not the new CCB number issued to LT INC DBA Glass 4 U LTD ( the CCB is clearly printed on the business card) They then decided to write insulting and untrue comments about LT INC DBA Glass 4 U LTD and [redacted] personally. There was no poor service incurred and there has never been any poor service given by LT INC DBA Glass 4 U LTD.

The costumer does not want to pay for the glass that was ordered, the time LT INC DBA Glass 4 U LTD incurred in service calls.

We find this an unfounded, unfair complaint.
