Filing complaint on [redacted] 2015Contracted [redacted], franchise owner, of Glass guru on [redacted] 2014 to replace glass that had shattered in our sliding glass door. He said he could do the job for [redacted] we accepted, he took measurements of the glass. On [redacted] 2014 Mr. [redacted] came again to our home and took measurements of the same broken sliding glass door. At this time he asked for a deposit. I gave him a deposit of [redacted] we did not hear from him, we called and had trouble connecting with him. His home phone was out of service. Christmas holidays came and went and he made no connections with us. The week after New Year I connected with him to make an appointment to put the glass in. He told me the company was on vacation for 2 weeks so orders were pushed back. I waited 2 more weeks, called was told he was going to pick the glass up next Friday, [redacted] 2015. Three weeks passed [redacted] we had no connection with Mr. [redacted], because we were having a lot of bad weather and deep snow in our area making it hard to get up our road and work on a window. When I connected with Mr. [redacted] next now he said the glass company moved and he had to find a new company . On [redacted] 2015 Mr.[redacted] came again with another gentleman and measured our sliding glass window then third time. He said he would order the glass and have it in in 2 weeks, which should have been [redacted] 2015. On [redacted] 2015 we called Mr. [redacted] to set up a time to put the glass in the window, but he never answered. On [redacted] 2015 he contacted us because we were trying to contact him. On [redacted] 4 he spoke to me about finding a glass company to get the glass from. Mr. [redacted] has given us 3 places he is trying to get glass from [redacted] and [redacted] and he would need to find someone that had a truck because he had no way of getting the glass and getting it to our home. At this point my wife took over the conversation and said it was time to terminate his service to us. I asked for a [redacted] refund.Desired Settlement[redacted] refund
