*** contacted us *** to pick up a sofa set in *** and trasnport to *** (over an hour away) As it happenned, our truck was there when she calledI told her our regular cost was $*** + tax to go there because there is
over a hour travel time involvedHowever because we were already there it would be $***I told her we would be at the residence in about minutesWhen we arrived, the wife would not release the set because she didn't know if *** had it paid forShe had to get hold of her husbandWe waited almost an hour at the house for the husband to finally arriveWhen the set arrived back to ***'s apartment, she was not thereWe were calling her and calling herWhen we finally got hold of her, she said she didn't have the money to payWe waited again over an hour from the time we delivered the set until she finally showed up to payShe tried to pay by prepaid credit cards and they kept decliningI explained that the $*** was because we were already there and it was supposed to be a quick move, however it ended up taking over hours in total and I was paying guys at an hourly rate to sit around and wait both in *** and again in ***She then wanted us to wait another hour so she could drive to her father's house to get the moneyI told her every minute she keeps us waiting is being added to her move as this was not the original agreementShe also told us she was paying by cash, but instead had to use or credit cards because they kept decliningI explained to her that we have to pay service charges when we are paid by credit card and that was not the original dealThe reason she was charged more was because of all the waiting we had to do and because she paid by credit card instead of cashShe was still charged $*** + tax cheaper than our original rateShe looked around the apartment while the guys were there and didn't say a word about any damage to the floor or a picture on the wallThe driver told her she bought a couch set that was way too big for her small apartmentThe next day she called me asking if I got the complaint from the Revdex.comI told her they send it in the mail and it may take some timeThat was the first I heard of any damageShe said the landlord would be calling usTo this date (days later) the landlord has never called and she failed to provide any pictures or proof of any damageShe is simply upset because she had to pay more, which was her own fault for having us wait so long and is now trying to get her money backShe also states that the landlord was the one who let the guys in to deliver the set, and the landlord did not say anything about any damage whatsoever when the set was delivered***
