Customer wrote 4 checks to pay off his account.     Customer left checks payable to Crown Capital physically signed by customer.   The check  amount was written out by me owner of the business and deposited for $624.09.   The customer was past due and had been notified...

several times Via phone.   The customer called the office upset due to the amount the check was for.   I listened to the customer and told him I would review the account. The customer stated that his baby did not have formula and I stated I would make sure they didn't go without. The customer has been a family friend for years.    The customer asked if his checks were shredded and I told him we would mail back  to him.    Upon review of the account, I issued a check back to the customer for $624.09 along with the  remaining 3 signed checks by the customer.
