book the room without hotel consent. soon as we received reservation we called/emailed [redacted] immediately and let them know that hotel would not be able to honor this reservation since it is sold out so please relocate guest accordingly. Upon Guest unexpected arrival hotel without choice had to let them know the situation and advised them to speak with [redacted] directly since guest had already paid for the reservation to [redacted]. Any delay in getting thier refund from [redacted] is completely out of control of the hotel. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to the guests. OTA's are really becoming headache for the h otel industry for their greedy policies to push for maximizing their revenue.
