Review: I attempted to pay at bill at the time a service was provided. The provider would not take the payment. We then had a series of personal and family issues resulting in us paying the bill (5) months after the service was incurred. During that time the provider continually harrassed us by calling at 3 and 4 in the morning and hanging up and sent a text threatening to come to our home and take care of things after the bill was paid. He then referred us to [redacted] Collection agency. (18) months after the bill was paid, they reported a collection on my credit report (August 2014) as well as sent me a bill for the already paid (in March of 2013)account. I have called and left a message for the collection agency indicating this should be deleted from my credit reports as opposed to marked as paid a the debt was paid prior to the collection process being started. I received one call back and have since called and let another message and now when I call am perpetually placed on hold then disconnected.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter sent in writing to each of the (3) major credit agencies as well as myself indicating that this is not a valid debt and should be deleted from my credit report. I would like them to verify future debts before reporting and I would like them to verify correct addresses - I received a letter from them (finally) this weekend that was forwarded by the post office as they did not use my correct house number. An apology would be nice as this has been quite unpleasant. I would like all other contact to cease.

We will send the a letter immediately, and notify the 2 credit bureaus we report to [redacted] and [redacted] that this was an error in reporting that all should be deleted like it never happened. We do not report to [redacted].

We are very sorry for the inconvenience, as the client who sent this account, never notified us any payment, and is refusing to pay us for our services. They have been extremely uncooperative an we will not be doing business with them again.

We will also cease any communications with the debtor as requested immediately.

We will address this immediately.
