Dear Madam, Sir,We have received the complaint *** filed on 5/22. We wish to clarify, specifically, the statement: GO 'refuses to make a full refund despite paying on time'... First: - Our Terms and Conditions are very clear from the outset - we organize group travel and the
price for the trip for students was $per paying passengerThe trip organizer was advised multiple times of the need to have ALL passengers pay for the trip days prior to the trip departure.Only paying passengers out of the had paidThe trip cost was for $per paying passengers for paying passengersThis was a group booking NOT an individual booking. Therefore the trip cost is no longer $and the trip cost would have doubledThe trip was not paid in full and this was indicated clearly in the proposal and invoices sent to the customersThe trip price changes if there are less participants. There is still a $12,balance due for the trip to be realizedThis was not paidTherefore the claim to having paid in full is incorrect.Secondly: The trip was fully covered by a Cancellation Policy allowing the passengers to claim 75% of their funds back do to a cancellationThe complaint fails to mention this.Failure to pay in full within days results in the trip being cancelledThe complaint fails to mention they had not paid in full before days.The group organizer was clearly informed of this prior to the deadline.In the end GO Educational Tours acted well within it's terms and conditionsThe complaint appears on its face, to be intentionally misleading in order to portray the company as delinquent in its practicesThe passengers' claim to no refund is not correct as they are covered by an insurance policy. They have been directed to process their claim with the insurance company. I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Greetings, I refuse to accept this responseThroughout the payment process the cost of the trip continued to increaseNo it did not start start at $I The trip number of paying people have nothing to do with the that paid on time and in fullThe not receiving a full repayment should have applied to them yet the people that did follow the guidelines sufferThe paying people asked for an itemized list as to what we were paying for that would increase our paid office balances and extra $per adult*** was unable to provide thatThe places that were selected for us to tour was little to no costWere we going to be provided with more food? Our own rooms? Individual buses? How are we suppose to know why the increase? Twenty-two people DID pay off their accounts to a zero balanceHe also stated I didn't mention the 75% it didMY complaint is my full refund because I paid the full as well as the other people.
