This year the "God's Little Acre" farm run by Jas*** promoted a box scheme where customers would each pay $60/mo starting in January, and would receive boxes of produce from the farm and other sources each month, approximately May - Dec (through the growing season)Our initial investment was (literally) seed moneyBenefits to "club" members were meant to be: a large box of produce twice a month,, home delivery, and other vague promises like discounts on boxes of seasonal fruit
In addition, we were promised the same delivery date biweekly, eg if your first box came on Saturday, you'd receive your future boxes every other Saturday for planning
Deliveries are slow and inconsistent, with some boxes not arriving for or days after they were promisedMy last box didn't arrive at all, despite being told several times "it's coming"Obviously a box of perishable produce has almost no value if you can't predict when it's comingThey offer an extra box to make up for miss
I couldnt decide which issue to choose as there are so manyIssues with product, delivery and customer service
Run by a "farmer" who fails to produce his own goods and instead purchases almost spoiled goods from other farms and sells them to customers, claiming said produce is his and is "no spray"Fails to communicate delivery dates and times, disappears for weeks on end with no way to contact him, berates customers publicly and then blocks themHe has currently disappeared with thousands of dollars in customer money and is not responding to anyone
