I bought a new home with a LP tankNo company's sticker or marker was on the tank as it's almost years old, so I had to call around to different companies to find who owned the tankI smelled gas while being around the tank twice, so I was a bit worried it could be leakingFinally I found out Foust Fuels owned the tankI contacted them to see about having the leak checkedCindy, whom I spoke with, and another employee both neither seemed to careI asked if they would come check itThey said sureI called back days later, and they said they forgot and would have someone come check it outLater I contacted them to see about having the tank filled, to find out their costs etc., and to follow up on the leakThey said there was no leak, they finally had someone come check it
My initial impression was very poor, and was about to get worseNo one at the company seemed to know how much it would cost to have the tank filled, when they would be able to do it, and how much the tank rental fee isFinally after more calls they told me I would need to fill out an application and submit itThey told me I would receive a new customer discount on gas for year, and per their advertisement on the internet, I inquired about their veteran's discountI was told it is 5% and I would receive this also, to write it at the top of my application and they would be sure to include it
days after submitting the application I called to follow up as I had not heard back from themThey informed me the application was in processdays later I came home to a note on my door saying my tank had been filledweeks later I got a bill for times more than they told me the cost would be to have the tank filledI followed up with a manager named Travis and he had the bill reissued at the correct price but without the veteran's discountI followed up with him and he said I couldn't receive the veterans discount and the new customer discount both, even though Cindy specifically told me this over the phone
Needless to say I think this company is engaging in a bait and switch tactic, and is very poorly run overallI will not be doing business with them in the future if I can help it
