Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I had asked if the seat cover came with the bike when I purchased itI was told it would have to be purchased separatelyAnd that it was not an option AT ALLWhen I called the dealer to complain then that's when the salesperson finally asked someone else and admitted he had no idea it was even an option and I could have had that possibility if I wanted to wait longer

Review: I went to purchase a new motorcycle from them. I asked the sales person if the passenger seat cover was an option on the motorcycle. I was told by the salesman that it was not an option. I later found out that it was a zero dollar option on my own. I called the dealer and I was treated rudely by that sales person. He then finally asked someone else and told him that it was not an option on the one I had purchased and I would have had to wait to order one with the seat cover, which I would have done if I was informed at the time. So I feel like I was misleaded so that a sale could occur then and not later. How should I be held accountable for a salesperson not knowing his jobDesired Settlement: My desired outcome is the credit to purchase the seat cover from them or to receive the seat cover from them.

Response:

Customer received a passenger seat, the no cost option of a passenger seat cover would be in lieu of the passenger seat he received. If he asked the salesman at the time if that motorcycle had that option and the salesman responded no, he was not mislead at all. Its either passenger seat, or passenger seat cover. He received the seat.

Response:

If the customer wants to swap this rear seat for a rear seat cover, we would entertain the solution. Other than that, there is nothing else we can do.

Review: 8/*/13 my husband & I were in the store and purchased a battery, battery charger & tire for a Polaris Quad. My credit card was charged for the 3 items & a waste fee for the old tire still on the quad at home. The tire had to be ordered. We were told the tire should be in within a week. We were given the option of having the tire delivered home at a cost (forgot the delivery cost quote) or we could come back to the store to pick it up. we opted to avoid delivery charge & pick up the tire at the store. We were also told to bring the old tire so they could "pop it off the rim and put the new tire on the rim". We were NOT told there was a cost involved. On 8/**/13, we returned to the store with the old tire on the rim along with the receipt. They took the old tire& switched it with the new one. My husband put the tire in car. A salesperson said they needed the receipt to get the VIN #.I had been waiting in the car for 2 hours while this was taking place. When my husband said they had the original receipt I was concerned so I went into the store to see what was going on. I asked the young man what he was doing and he replied, " finding out how much to charge you for putting the new tire on your rim. I told him I was not informed there was a charge. I was told to "bring in old tire/rim & we will pop it off & replace it with the new tire" He called the salesman over who admitted he did not tell us there was a charge, But said I should have ASSUMED there would be one. I asked to speak to the manager. Mgr. [redacted] came over with a sarcastic smirk on his face. We explained, a charge was NEVER discussed,& the salesman admitted not discussing or quoting a charge, the arrogant mn walked towards us asking where the tire was. We told him, in the car. He said "get it NOW & I will take it off the rim" his behavior was threatening. The sales Mgr. told the salesman "charge them for tire weights" the salesman didn't because, NO weights were used. We paid the fee in cash & left. They ARE THEIVES!Desired Settlement: I want a $39.92 refund & the sales manager [redacted] FIRED. We were threatened into paying the fee to get away from the maniac. I called when We got home & spoke to the owner [redacted]. He was of NO help. He informed me "I've had complaints about this sales manager." "the reason they are so aggressive about charging a service fee is for insurance issues". "People purchase tires over the internet & have us install them". I reminded him the tire was PURCHAED at HIS STORE. He's ignorant as his worker

Response:

First, I’d like to address Mrs. [redacted]’* beginning statement about being charged a “waste fee for the old tire still on the quad at home.” Per NYS law, she was charged the Waste Tire Management Fee on the “new” tire, not the old one that was still at home.

This customer purchased an ATV tire over the counter. When she came in to pick it up, she asked if the service department could mount it for her. We had the service department stop what they were doing to remove her old tire and mount the new one. ATV tires are very difficult to do. We gave her the new tire mounted on the rim and charged for mounting the tire. Since she paid for the tire already at the parts counter, she said no one told her we charge to mount tires and that her mechanic would do it for free. We explained that we do not work for free and no shop that we know of mounts ATV tire for free. Again, she said that she was not told that there was a charge, and would not pay.

Rather than argue with her, we said that we would remove the new tire from the rim and she could have her mechanic mount it for her @ no charge, or, we would return her purchase price for the tire completely. She was not happy. She did not get the mounting done for free and decided to pay the mounting charge. Why pay, if she could have gotten it done for free, an option that we gave her to do. I don’t understand why some people think that they are entitled to get things for nothing. We offered to cancel the charge and give her the tire & rim back or refund the purchase price and cancel the sale. We are at a loss as to what else we could have possibly done.
