Review: On March 16th, I requested tow service since my vehicle had broken down. Golden Star Towing came my way around 3am. Upon the delivery of my vehicle, the driver of the tow truck reversed the truck into another one of my vehicle parked causing damage. The driver admitted guilt and proceeded to give me his and his bosses info to take care of the issue immediately(or so I thought). The following week I continued to not only follow up with the business to try and resolve the issue, I also drove everywhere needed to get a quote and even order the replacement piece. After about a week the driver and the owner both started denying the fault that took place and stated that it was my fault that the vehicle was damaged and proceeded to say that the damage wasn't their fault. that it was me who requested the truck be pulled in the driveway in such a way that it cause the impact. Which from the original admittance and follow up text show, this wasn't the cause, they were lying and trying to deny my repair. The damage to the vehicle affected me in itself in that the function of the taillight was no longer working and I risked possible citation for the damage to the vehicle. After numerous attempts to resolve the issue and not getting that, I proceeded to stop by the office of John at Golden star Towing. Here I came with my girlfriend and her daughter but was shocked when I entered the office and it was filled with the smell and smoke of marijuana. I was also appalled when one of the men in the room proceeded to ask me if I wanted some. I declined and told my girlfriend and her daughter that we needed to go because it wasn't safe here. the man Robbie who was smoking told me to call John personally and deal with him. so I left. Now its been a month and the issue hasn't been resolved. no call backs, no email response, nothing. this leads me to believe the driver was under the influence and couldn't properly drive the truck and drove into my car. I have documentation of the event as well as pictures of everythingDesired Settlement: my taillight fixed. the damaged was estimated at $350 and I shouldn't be responsible for this damage. I would also like the authorities to stop by this place and see what type of open drug environment they are running.

Review: I had called for tow truck service on March 23,2015 and they ran my debit card before they arrived for $270.14. I was able to start my car before they arrived, so I called back to cancel and request a refund. They agreed to send me a check minus a $45 service fee. I have yet to receive a check despite many attempts to call and inquire about my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money.

Review: Called [redacted] road side service for a flat tire on 57 freeway in Brea, Ca. at 2:24 pm. Received call from tow service stating it would be about 20 minutes. Called [redacted] dealer in Covina Ca. who was waiting for me and tow service. Dealer closed at 4 pm. Called tow service several times. Assured someone would be coming soon. By 4:30 pm called my car insurance [redacted] for help. [redacted] also called Golden Star Tow for service. [redacted] called me and stated that Golden Star would not take work order number. Agent from my insurance checking on me and telling me that Golden Star Tow refusing to take order. I was press for time because had a family member released to my care to observe and give medications. Left family member briefly with husband while I came home to get change of clothes. This is when I had the flat tire and imperative that I return as quick as possible. Driver finally came at 5:24pm. I had my insurance on the phone trying to talk him into taking order. he refused with me in the truck. I had a spare tire and he never checked. He drove me to [redacted] in Chino Hills Ca. Reached [redacted] about 10 to 15 minutes to 6:pm. By the time I reached family member she had over dosed and had to take to ER hospital. Family member was hospitalized for a week. Driver by the name of Chevy asked me for cash and I said no. I gave him credit card and he charged me $163.00. Driver refused to take my insurance order because he wanted to charge me. [redacted] covers to dealer not to any place to fix tire. Driver never checked if I had a Tire. I took tire to the dealer and was told it could have been fixed. As driver driving me to a [redacted] he received another call from seemed like someone he knew. He stated do not worry, "I will take care of you after this call". The driver refused to take work order from my insurance simply to charge me. It took him 3 hours to get to me from Anaheim to Brea both in Orange County Ca. This unacceptable to have a 63 year old woman on a busy freeway in the afternoon waiting for 3 hours.Desired Settlement: Would appreciate both companies to dissolve contracts with Golden Star Towing company. My GPS informed me that he took me well within the 10 mile radius. Some money would be nice, but most important is the safety of any driver in distressed.
