The armature for the starter on my Toyota BJLandcruiser was shorted across two contacts, which Rick found quickly upon disassembly He didn't believe me at first that this was a volt system AND a diesel since they were not ever offered in the U.S Despite the rarity, he had it repaired in a timely manner, considering, and charged less than a third of what a rebuilt on cost online
