Indy Folks: Do NOT hire Goodloe Industry Services, LLC , unless you want your property damaged, to be lied to and to sit around on your day off waiting for them as promised. They currently have a Groupon out that I took advantage of to prepare for the upcoming holiday season. Unfortunately, it is not worth the amount of property damage and headache from trying to communicate with the owner to contract with them, Groupon or not. They clearly don't care about their customers or the reputation of their business.

It is pretty clear from their cover photo on their facebook page that "YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR #1 PRIORITR" is an accurate reflection of how their company operates. No, that is not an error on my part. Their commitment to "PRIORITR" should have been my first red flag.

After having to reschedule the day of the appointment and then having them arrive lan hour late, I was still more than patient and willing to work with them as things happen. They did an Ok job and I will say the staff that came to my home were kind. In the holiday spirit, I even gave them some Girl Scout Fall product that I stocked up on for Christmas gifts.

After leaving, I discovered my shower had significant damage due to a chemical reaction. I immediately emailed the individual I was working with to schedule my appointment. He responded quickly that he informed the owner and that the owner would be in touch that evening or next day. Fast forward to the next morning, still nothing. I took more pictures and sent them to the owner again. I did receive a call from the owner and in his voice mail he assured me he would sent a technician out that day and would provide me with a $25 gift certificate for my troubles. Upon calling back and speaking with the owner, we set a time for 1pm that day to have the tech come out and check the damage and replace it. I was to receive a confirmation call from either the tech or the owner. I was satisfied and happy that this company seemed to be taking customer service seriously. Fast forward to 1pm. Nothing. No tech. No call. 2:45pm I called and talked to someone at their office who quickly told me he was aware of the situation and would call me back. 3:45pm, nothing. 4:30pm I send another email asking for them to respond with an action plan to rectify this situation or I was going to use my resources as a consumer to ensure this doesn't happen to others. 5pm I called, left a voice mail, nothing.

The next day, emailed again and called. Still nothing. So now, 3 days out, it is very clear that the owner @[redacted] and his company are truly committed to their #1 "Prioritr"..... I made countless attempts with the owner to give them a chance to rectify this situation but it was to no avail outside of empty promises and them unanswered emails and calls. That is unfortunately.

Most Unfortunate for them, I am an individual of my word so when I told the owner I would report the company to consumer review organizations, I wasn't threatening or bluffing. I do not want others to have to deal with the challenges I have had to by contracting with this company, specialty around the holidays.

Unfortunately for them I shower daily so every morning I am reminded that I paid to have my property damaged. Everyday I'll feel the need to inform other consumers to stay away from this company.

I know this is a not a major problem but I grew up at a family business and learned the value of customer service early. I fully support small, local businesses but it is because of failures like these that lead to small business getting a bad name and send consumers to the chains and big box vendors.

Please continue to support local, small businesses, just not this one.
