They did a very poor job. They caused flooding in my house which damaged my cabinets, many flaws in the finished work beyond repair, $3400 loss.
I am a dialysis patient and live all alone. I have no family, no kids, no friends and do not have any kind of support. I have been wanting to report Granite Perfection for the horrible job they did and the additional $1400 I paid out of pocket just to clean up their mess for more than a year now but I am sick all the time. I hired a handyman to do miscellaneous work and he found many flaws in their finished product beyond repair.
I hired Granite Perfection owned by Mr. Hamlet *** on 8/31/2017 to install granite countertop in my kitchen and both of my bathrooms for the cost of about $3200. I signed a receipt on his mobile phone. The supervisor brought 2 non-speaking Hispanics with him who were going to install the precut granite. The supervisor was on the job in my house for less than half an hour and then left to supervise another job in the area and did not come back almost close to midnight and left me here with 2 non-English speaking Hispanics. One of the workers trying to remove the old sink broke a water pipe coming out of the bathroom wall and had even hid it. The initial problem began when I noticed they were installing a 2 piece granite slab for the bar countertop. I got into a yelling match with Mr. Hamlet *** the owner the bar countertop should have been seamless. He claimed I should have read the contract and what he was referring to a contract which was the receipt I signed on his cell phone for my deposit. I offered to pay $200 more for a seamless bar countertop and he agreed but said they will be back in 3 days. When they left I turned on the water valve and within an hour the kitchen and both bathrooms were flooded. The water was gushing out the bathroom wall beneath the guest bathroom cabinet where the pipe was snapped out of the wall. Mr. told me they can't be there for 3 days and asked me to turn off the main valve. They left me here without water for 3 days. The supervisor cut a 6x6 inch in the back of the cabinet to make an extension but failed. The send a plumber to put all sink pipes together and also fix the broken pipe. The plumber repaired the 12x12 drywall cut and 6x6 inch cut in cabinet with just mud. I didn't bother to call Granite Perfection because I knew Mr. Hamlet *** was a terrible businessman and we may get into another shout out match so I let it go but this is just the beginning of the problem. Since I am bedridden I did not notice the additional damages they had caused. The only thing I had noticed there was hairline crack on the boarder of the granite across the kitchen sink. I called a handyman to do some touch up work, install shower heads and fixtures. We expected he would finish the job in 1 or 2 visits at most but he came over 16 times. The followings is what the handyman found by now a board certified attorney: a chip on the corner of master bedroom granite countertop, 14 snow white tiles adjacent to jacuzzi crushed, side kitchen panel 9 inches high discolored grey due to flooding. The granite countertop adjacent to the bathroom wall was cut in a skewed angle not flushed with wall 1/2 inch gap beyond repair, backsplash not leveled and half in mid air, the guest bathroom countertop about to collapse because the support and bases rutted due to flooding, both bottom boards in the 2 bathrooms warped. The handy man repaired The stained side kitchen panel, replaced smashed jacuzzi tiles, painted the entire pantry where the plumber had cut out a 12x12 dry wall, replaced both bathroom warped bottom panels, reinforced the guest bathroom by 2x4's preventing it from collapsing at the cost of $1400 where a professional cabinet maker would have charged thousands. At the beginning I mentioned the hairline crack on the boarder of the granite kitchen countertop has spread. I imagine in time moisture gradually penetrated causing chemical reaction and now about 32 x 2 inches wide of the granite is warped and is about to fall. No company wants to repair it. Thank You
The guest bathroom cut in an skew angle not flushed with the wall, 1/2" gap. This beyond repair. The backsplash above it, half of the piece is on the granite and the other half in mid air. The 32x2" cracked and warped boarder granite is beyond repair. I have already paid $1400 out of pocket to repair the damages made by the broken pipe by one his employees which caused the flooding. If they can Repair the cracked piece by the kitchen sink and fix the skewed guest bathroom countertop then I am okay with that. I have pictures and the job this company has done is beyond poor. I had a very bad experience with Mr. Hamlet *** the owner who was trying to stiff me a 2 piece slab bar countertop. He has no sense of business that the customer is always right or even offer a resolution. After the yelling and shouting match where I finally hung up on him, he is not a kind of person you can negotiate with. 407-
The overall experience was first class in every way, from the buying discussion and advice of Hamlet J.; the templating by Ramon, which resulted in a perfect fit; and the installation and cleanup by Miguel and Sam. There was no pressure to purchase incidental items nor upgraded granite. I would use the company again and recommend that anyone consider it as an option when making a granite purchase. The company-issued coupon made the job about a third less than *** and HD contracts its work out. I even got a couple extras at no charge.
Granite Perfection, LLC Was wonderful to work with. we went into the office found something we both liked a lot. ask when they could come and give us a bid and how long would it take? Hamlet himself came to my home took all the measurements. he let us know the price and how long it would take. he gave us a date it was 2 weeks out. we got a call from Hamlet 5 days before he was to come and install. ask if we would be available the next day. 4 days ahead of the date he gave me!!! that's unheard of! the men got here. (Sam and John) got right to work. and did an AMAZING job! I did not like one part of it and they took it back and got the right size no problems. Very nice to work with! Ahead of schedule. very clean. I would use them again!!! and my neighbor is going to use then in about a month.

I highly recommend Granite Perfection. Hamlet is such a nice man to work with. He is polite and friendly, super responsive to text messages and emails and the cost was very affordable. I replaced my entire kitchen countertops and couldn't be happier. The installation process went very well and the product I chose is beautiful. I will be using him again when I redo my bathrooms. Thank you Hamlet for a very pleasant experience.
From start to finish, Granite Perfection LLC made this an easy experience. We chose to upgrade our kitchen counters by going from for Micah to granite. Not only has this up the selling value of the home it looks like a brand new kitchen! It has bright and an opened up the kitchen to make it look more spacious and welcoming. Hamlet me choosing from there very extensive selection simple and enjoyable; and this is coming from someone who hates the shop or make decisions. Our installer paid attention to even the most minute of details to make sure that everything fit together perfectly. We will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know!
Granite Perfection - This company is experienced, professional, trustworthy, courteous, budget friendly and will not settle for less than 100% customer satisfaction. I decided to replace my counter tops a few weeks before I moved into my new house. I searched for a company on*** with this timeline. Only Granite Perfection responded. I read their reviews and they were excellent. When I met Hamlet, we looked at granite and quartz counter top as well as new faucet options. He made the entire process very easy and worked with me to find a way to manage the cost within my budget. They installed the quartz and faucets as promised before my move-in date!
Unfortunately, the slab that was provided by the manufacturer was not good. They tried cleaning the counter tops with their recommended cleaners to see if it would improve the appearance. Unfortunately, that did not help. Ramon came to my house to look at the quartz to see the condition. I was afraid that they were going to say there was nothing more they could do. I was thrilled that, instead, Ramon told me that they were going to replace them!!!! I went over to the shop and picked out a granite replacement. Within a few weeks, I had beautiful new granite counter tops that changed the entire appearance of my kitchen and baths. Everything looked clean and fresh.
If you are looking for a company that you can trust that provides superior service and products, this is the one. They exceeded my expectations. I am forever grateful to them that I as the customer was so important to them. You will be too!
Hamlet and the Granite Perfection were great to work with. They were very responsive and dependable.
A few differentiating highlights:
1. Although two slabs were reserved for the work, Hamlet was able to fit the necessary cuts into one slab and promptly communicated this to me.
2. During my home renovation, the island wasn't ready... Hamlet did a detailed estimation and sent specs for my contractor to follow to ensure accuracy.
3. Post installation, it was noticed that the overhang prevented my refrigerator from fitting... Hamlet sent his team out as soon as he was able to correct the issue.
Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would use them again on a future granite installation.
Yesterday Ramon and Hector installed granite in my kitchen and guest bath and quartz in the master bath. My project came with its share of challenges. They worked diligently to make sure everything turned out amazing. They answered all of my questions, and there were quite a few, and worked with me to find solutions to the issues they encountered. They were professional, polite and very hard working. I'm a tough customer to please and I know that. They went above and beyond.
