I am rejecting this response because:Affiliate partners in promoting your product by using a bait and switch tactic to sell your product should be a concern to you. If you notice on the contract that he supposedly signed, the name of the broker is not listed, only "Virus Eraser" is listed. In the contract it list's [redacted]" as the affiliate company as well as the consumer in the contract. This in my estimation is an effort to hide their identity or to make virus eraser solely responsible.Regardless, the contract should be null and void as it does not state all parties clearly and their roles in the contract. The consumer is the only name listed other than "Virus Eraser". If it is an affiliate that is selling your product, they should be listed as well. Please see attached copy.

I am rejecting this response because: This is the very same thing they've been claiming since MID-AUGUST...it's always something, and it's always a lie.

I am rejecting this response because: After not receiving the first two checks that were allegedly sent to me, I am inclined to believe that no check was ever sent.  I am extremely disappointed at the lack of attention to this issue by Virus Eraser.  I would like someone to please get to the bottom of this asap.Please provide me with proof of these alleged payments, how they were sent, where they were sent, traching number, etc.  I assume you somehow track your mail whether it's thru [redacted], etc.  I would like to have my private investigator look further into who recevied these checks.   You guys should have my bank account number from the check of mine that you cashed.  I would like to please request that you issue my refund directly into my bank account via electronic check.  Please contact me asap. [redacted]

Regarding complaint ID [redacted], I want to report that Virus Erase  has credited a $700 refund to my credit card, as they stated they would do; however, I question the method they used to get me to purchase their product.  I computer was hijacked by someone, and I was not able to close it out or turn it off, even by unplugging from power source ( it is a laptop)until I called the phone # shown at the bottom of the screen, at which time I was connected to Virus Erase.  This seems to me a questionable way to do business, and virus Erase should investigate how this could happen in a reputable business.  As for me, I am satisfied with the results of my report to the Revdex.com.Thank You,[redacted]

It could be possible that when the customer called he reached our one of resellers and as an option Virus Eraser Antivirus Software was offered to the customer.  All the proper guidelines were followed before processing the payment as without customer's permission or authorization no charges can be processed. As we can see that customer is looking for a full refund of his money per the desired settlement, we have proceeded with the same. The amount would reflect within 5-7 business days back to customer's account. I am rejecting this response because:  We have not had our money of $245.50 refunded to us.  They refunded $129.99 to our credit card,and they claimed we had to pay this amount first before they would refund the $245.50. Our Credit Union stated there has been no refunding of $245.50  from Virus Eraser!

Hello..this is not a bait and switch.. My guess is this virus was the result of sights not suggested in this world .please note that at no time did virus eraser actas you state. Regards

I am rejecting this response because: I wish to keep the case open until the credit card company has settled on the dispute. I wish to clarify that virus-eraser (or one of its affiliates) made unsolicited contact with my mother. She did not reach out to anyone regarding a computer virus.

and want the refund we proceed in resolving the issues within 7 to 10 days. We received your call and the diagnostic expert helped you understand why did that issue occurred on your computer. Virus Eraser Inc is an authorized reseller partner for [redacted] and not a partner. There must have been some miscommunication and we apologize for the same. Virus Eraser helped you fix the issue of the computer and agreed to provide the support for next 1 year. We understand you did not want us to cash the check but the scan copy of the check was already in the system and the bank cashed it.
