I spoke to the owner Richard S[redacted] on 07/24/16. He sent a worker back to the house at 8:00 pm and re-attached the new siding that fell off the house on 07/23/16.
He advised he will not be fixing any other items. I will be hiring a new contractor to fix the remaining items.

Hi, My name is [redacted] and I am the salesman that dealt with this customer from the begin. First off he did not pay $5,700.00. I gave him 2 bids, one for $5,700.00 for the main house and one for $1,200.00 for the lower roof and the stair case for a total of $6,900.00. After much dickering back and forth I agreed to do the main roof for $5,500.00 and the lower roof and staircase for $1,000.00. After starting the work I explained to him that the soffit and fascia were in very poor condition and should be replaced. I explained to him that we did not do this type of work and this was clearly stated in our proposal on line 2 which is as follows ( Any replacement of woodworking, decking, fascia, etc... will be done at owner's expense). He told me that he was having metal fascia installed at a later time. Our proposal also states that final payment is due when the work is completed. The day before we were to finish I contacted him and stated that we would be completed the next day. I spent the next 2 weeks trying to locate him to in an attempt to collect. When I finally reached him he said he was in Nevada and would be returning in a few weeks but would mail us a check. After about a month with no check I sent him a Notice of Intent to Lien said property. He called me the next day and said he would fly here from Nevada in 3 days and pay us then. On that Friday I met with him and did a final walk through to inspect the completed work and warn him again about the rotting 1x6" fascia where he again told me he would " get it taken care of". This November he called us to say that the roof was blowing off so I agreed to meet him to find out what the problem was. When I arrived at his house he met me in the street and started explaining to me that the salesman that sold him the job had made all kinds of guarantees and promises about replacing the rotten fascia. It was very clear that he did not recognize me. Since I saw him last I have put on 25lbs. grown a full beard, am now wearing glasses, and driving a newer truck. He was trying his best to make it look like he did not get what the salesman sold him until I took my hat and glasses off and told him my name. I told him I would look at the cause of the wind damage and repair if it was our fault. Upon closer inspection I find that the rotting and missing 1x6" had never been replaced but instead someone had just put new metal fascia over a large gapping hole between the roof truss overhangs. This allowed the wind to get behind the metal fascia causing it to blow off and taking 10' of drip edge with it. I have only received one phone call from him about this since last November and my boss received one that I am aware of. If I can of anymore help please let me know. Thank You. [redacted]

[redacted] I have the contract and chacke when they did work I was not there my friend nex door across street [redacted] noticed bad work and told me I am in las vegas that time I called him told hem to take care of this matter insurance paid for work half before and final when finished the day when they finished work they want the payment final I told insurance will inspect it and after they release final payment they got paid the roof had several problem they went to repair it in November I was there and noticed the roof edge falling apart I called several time to fix it [redacted] came out and told me he will repair it soon he newer did I called his message box was full called office and owner answered phone I told him to take care of repair because bad work he told me to F myself and hung up phone that's when I contacted Revdex.com the metal siding and fascia are there ever sinse was installed years aged only on the back side was loos on the corner of 2nd floor the f[redacted]t side at21st steer side was not down and now it is falling off after they did new roof I have pictures and you can call [redacted] my neighbor ###-###-#### I will fax you the document please call me thank you sincerely [redacted]

Review: Contract made to remove exist. roof, install water shield perim., install metal drip edge, #30 felt, valley metal and pipe flashing, exhaust cap, reflash 3 skylights, paint plywood & trim skylights, new laminate comp. shingles & ridge cap, tighten screws on garage, 30 yr. Warranty on shingles and 10 yr. Warr. on work.

Discovered interior paint and wall damage, dampness etc. between kitchen & living room 5/15/15.

Contact made with [redacted] shortly after. He stated he would fix the roof but my insurance had to pay for repairs. We had already had 2 claims for hail damage which this job was a result of. Ins. Cost was already 4,500.00 yr.

Sent crew member out for repair who stated a 2 roof nails were not put in properly and stuck through shingles. He repaired them with no further leaks in that location.

Called [redacted] back to cover damage, he became angry but told me to get bids.

Got 2 bids.

Kleenex King. 2,447.92. Both bids due to possible mold from 2 years of leaking but not sure. Due to excessive handicapped elderly mother and my asthma and upper resp. problems I have to fix & know.
