I have dealt with many landlords and property management companies and this is by far the worst experience with Micozzi managementI have a one-year old daughter and we signed a lease with Micozzi for a two bedroom apartment in Newton, MAThe day we moved in, there was no heat and the door was unlockableI called the management and was told it had to wait until tomorrowWe lived somewhere else for the cold night and fortunately the issues were fixed the next dayNot long after we moved it, we realized there was another problem: the noise from a restaurant next door lasted until midnight, and it often woke up my babyI tried moving her to a different room, but the noise was still loud enough to wake her upI noticed that the wall air conditioners were installed poorly and there were visible gaps that let in air and noiseI called the managementTheir attitude was cold and indifferentI described the issue and was told that they knew about the restaurant and the noise, but there was nothing they could doI asked if they could fix the insulation, and the answer was "we are not going to fix that", repeated times over phone callsWhen I asked why didn't they tell me about the restaurant and noise before I moved in, they answered, it was your responsibility to find out and that was why we gave you the chance to view the property before you signed the lease! At that point, I realized what I was in forThen I told them I would have to move out because this was not good for my baby's healthThey did not show any interest of investigating the problem or fixing the problem or do anything to keep me, instead they told me all the consequences of breaking the lease, regardless of the reasonI offered to bring in qualified tenant candidate, they rejected and told me I was not allowed to do that, and they wold put it on market whenever they thought it was ready and I would be responsible for the rent for the entire lease period, the finder's fee, the cleaning fee, and other unheard of feesI feel they do not care about their tenants, and once you sign the lease, you are hooked and they will just enforcing the lease terms and collect the rentI am reporting them to the attorney general office for investigationIf you want a peaceful and quiet environment to live and a caring management, stay away from Micozzi
