lease is a legal and binding obligation and Ms***'s lease clearly states that any pets require the written permission of the landlordMs. *** currently resides in a building that we do not permit dogs so that our residents who prefer not to live in close proximity to dogs can live without barking/ pet disturbances, etcA transfer to a dog friendly building is an option but there are fees/deposits associated with having a dog. We truly regret that a leak that was beyond our control damaged the ceiling in Ms***'s bath and as a result I have previously issued a $rent credit to cover any damaged personal items and her inconvenienceBefore repairs can be made to a ceiling the area must dry out and replacing drywall is a process that does take a week to ten days as the coats of plaster must dry before sanding and paintAll repairs have been completed. We also truly apologize for the misapplication of one of her rent payments due to mislabelingThe error has been rectifiedI assure you that we do not treat this lightly but our office staff is very often jovial and smiling and I am sorry this was misconstrued. attention. Iunderstand that there was confusion in that, Ms. [redacted]'s sister applied for an apartment on the sameday she toured our facility. We were running a lease and look special whereas if you leased the sameday you looked we would waive the fee. I have already refunded Ms. [redacted]'s application fee byreversing the charge to her credit card even though the application she signed clearly stated the $35was non-refundable even if your application was declined due to credit.We at Greece Commons strive to provide excellent service to our applicants and residents and hope thatMs. [redacted] will accept our apologies for the miscommunication and consider Greece CommonsApartments in the future if her credit situation should change.Yours truly,Deborah *.
