Review: We purchased a car from this car lot and were deceived. We were told that the car was a "gem" and that it was well maintained. Visually the car was beautiful and very well taken care of. My chronically ill daughter test drove 3 cars and ended up liking a 2002 [redacted] Sebring convertible. If looking for a vehicle in this lot BEWARE: [redacted] used a battery charger on 2 of the cars that was test driven and added coolant. The SUV my daughter really wanted never started and the Owner or sales person called his mechanic in front of us to come repair the vehicle. This car was driven for about 30 minutes and I hooked up a code reader and was no codes were given. On the way home it all started. within days the check engine light came on (catalytic converter) both rear struts and both rear arms control assembly, lower and upper strut seats, water pump and coolant bleeder housing leaking, oil leaking from the oil pan and the from the front timing cover, missing clamp to the outer CV axle (leaking grease) timing chain tensioner (seized). However, visually the motor was spotless (all cleaned up)! So far $2,681.80 in repairs and still $793.00 for the catalytic converter. since the car was $3366.00 you can see my problem. They absolutely refuse to take back this car. As a matter of fact, during my phone call with this place I was told that my 20 year mater-tech mechanic was taking me for a ride. He had no remorse for selling me this car!!! Lesson I learned. When the battery is disconnected or not charged it erases the codes until a full cycle of the car is met, then the check engine light will come back on. It is a shame this happened for I have never had a problem like this with any vehicle I purchased before. I thought it was better to buy from a used car lot then to buy a car from a private party, this proved my theory of honesty was wrong.Desired Settlement: I would like this dealership/car lot to either take back the car and reimburse me for all the repairs or I would like them to reimburse me for the repairs already done and pay for the catalytic converter to be replaced.
