The middle of Sept 2018 I got a phone call from a salesman from GVC Industries LLC 29 Front Street East Rockaway NY about a farm manure pit Digestant 610 they had. We visited a little bit and then we hung up. A few days later I got 2 - 50 Ib pails of Digestant 610. Within a day I called the salesman I had talked to and told him of the 2 pails of Digestant that was shipped to me. The salesman said I had ordered it when we had talked on the phone. I said I did not order it. He said I did. I was selling off my pigs at the time because I had lost my employee. Why would I order something I had no use for. On 09/23/18 I got an invoice for $1,580 for the digestant and shipping due on 10/23/18. I then called GVC again and got the head engineer. I told him I did not order it and I wasn't going to pay for it, to have UPS pick it back up. He said he would not do that. after another phone call he said he would reduce the bill to $800 due 11/23/18. I told him I did not order it and I could not use it. He said if I didn't pay for it he would turn over to a collection agency. As of 12/07/18 nothing has been done about it. The digestant sets in my garage unopened. I asked him to talk to the owner of the company and he said NO.

Review: GVC Industries (salesmen [redacted]) called and spoke to my wife 1st and then contacted me about the product we were both told that the price would be 10.00 a month and would we try it for that amount. We agreed to try it. The product came and then a bill for $1,680.00. I called the business and told them that the price was not what I had been quoted, and would not pay that much. I was told then that they would pick up the product. The product is still in my garage untouched. Now two months later they want payment. I told them again I did not want it for $1,680.00 and they should come and pick it up. They said they can not pick it up and we need to pay or they would send to collection agentDesired Settlement: I do not want to pay for a product that the price was changed after I received. They can have their product back.

Review: I was cold called by a representative of this company pitching an additive for our manure lagoons. I told him that I would need to discuss this additive with [redacted] regarding our interest in such a product. They went ahead and sent the product with a bill for $1,680 without any written or verbal request from me or anyone else here. When I recieved it I immediately called them complaining and asking them to take it back and also pay for freight. They said someone would call back and never did so I called several times and the representatives continually hung up the phone on me. I spoke with a [redacted] who would not acknowledge that I did not formerly order the product and the company continues to send bills and threaten collection. This is a SCAMDesired Settlement: GVC to take product back AND cover 100% of cost of freight.

Review: After second call from sales rep, we told the company we could not afford their product and did not want any further calls. They continued to constantly call and irritated us to no end. At some point, they interpreted our frustrations as saying we wanted their product and shipped it. My wife accepted the package not knowing what it was, as we receive multiple packages all the time, and apparently because it is a "bio-material", we are being told that we can not ship it back. We have not opened the packages. We called the company and cordially tried to explain the situation, however, the Chief engineer (there is only 1) told us - just try it, you'll like it - and we persisted saying "we don't like the bill and can not afford this product". The phone call led to no resolution as we were told it could not be returned, I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor and apparently the only person above the engineer is the owner who he would not put on the phone. I looked up the business on [redacted] maps and there location does not even appear to be anything but a garage. Funny thing, the day after this occurred, another sales rep from the same company called to try and sell us the same product again.Desired Settlement: Refund. I am going to try and ship this product back, and I don't want to be billed for it. I may suffer shipping costs- which I am not happy about - but it is much better than the $1090.00 bill they sent for this product. Should I proceed to do this or is there another way to handle this dispute?

Review: I purchased a product 2-3 years ago from this company. Didnt work very well. Paid them for it. No problem. Ever since Ive been on their call list to try to sell me more. Ive declined each time. Started to just ignore the sale calls. Pick up phone last week with them, mistake. Try to tell them I wasn't interested. Told Joe, salesman, that ill do some more research of product on their website and if its what I want Ill call him back and order from him personally. Just trying not to be rude. Few days later they send me 50lbs of their product. No invoice or anything. I called them this morning telling them that I didnt order it. they say I did and I will be billed in march. Told them they need to issue a [redacted] pick up tag and have it returned. Im not going to open it nor am I going to pay for it. They say I did want it on the sales call. In no way shape or form did agree to purchase this product. They shipped it anyway and now say they cant have it returned because it is on a farm with livestock. Total bull. No pun intended. After 30 minutes of heavy conversation they are going to call me back in a little while and try to pick it up. They agreed to have it returned but me pay the shipping, I rejected that on principle because this shouldnt be my problem. I never agreed to buy it. Just very [redacted]. Im still waiting on a phone call and they may agree to pay return shipping. I still want to file a complaint anyway.Desired Settlement: Just would like for them to pay shipping and have their product returned to them. Its has not been opened and never will be while I have it. They can send a [redacted] pick up order and [redacted] can pick it up at my business. I do it all the time.

Review: The sales representative talked my dad into trying this farm digestant - he told him that he would not have to pay for it until he saw results. Shortly after, the product was delivered we received an invoice for $1,680.00. We then received phone calls asking for our credit card number to pay for it. We told them that we were told that we did not have to pay for it until we knew that it worked and they disagreed with that and said that we had 30 days to pay it. We asked to return it and they said that it couldn't be returned once it was delivered. When we told them we would not give them a credit card number and would only pay by check they said they could not accept a check. We continued to receive phone calls regarding the payment of this product that we did not want and we refused to provide a credit card number even though they continually insisted on us giving them one. On 1/**/14 FedEx came to pick up this product per the request of GVC Industries LLC - we gladly sent it back and it was delivered to GVC Industries LLC on 2/*/14. On 2/**/14 my dad received another phone call from them demanding that we pay them and that we pay by credit card. They were very rude and said if we did not pay by the end of the day they would send the bill to collections. The product was returned to them on 2/*/14 - what do we need to pay for??Desired Settlement: We would like them to stop contacting us and to credit the bill for the return of their product.

Review: I was contacted by phone and asked if I would be interested in using a product called Farm Digestant. They explained how the product is used,how it could help me and that it cost only pennies per day to use. I told them I didn't think I needed there product, and ended the phone call. A week or two later They called again, same product, same great claims, same price. I again told them I didn't see a need for the product. Then they offered to send me a years worth of the product for free. No obligation no strings they just thought I would be so impressed that I would buy there product next year when the free product was used up. Thinking that they were a responsible company I consented to try the free product, no cost, no freight, no strings. The problem is they sent me a bill soon after the product arrived, for $1680.00. this is hundreds of times more than the pennies per day they claimed on the phone. I called to complain and have had no satisfactory response. I still have the product unopened and unused, and they can come get it if they want but I want the bill deleted.Desired Settlement: Cancel out my bill

Review: I received a telemarketer call about a manure digestant product this company was selling at lunch time. The guy asked a few questions and wanted to ask more but I was in the middle of lunch so I told him I wasn't interested and he should call at a later time to give me more info and references about the product, as it was something I had never heard of prior to the phone call. I politely hung up on him as he wouldn't give up. He later called and talked with my wife who was not interested either in the manure digestant. A week or so later we recieved 2- 50 pound pails of this manure digestant that we did not order or want. We have since been billed for the order in the amount of $1680.00. I have contacted them and they are very persistant that I pay the bill for a product I did not order. I am now recieving past due notices from them. When I originally recieved the product I called the number off the shipping label to let them know I wasn't interested and that they could have it picked up. They claim they can't return it because it is a biological and could be contaminated. It is still in the sealed containers in which I recieved it.Desired Settlement: All I want is for them to know I didn't want or order the product and they should send a pick up notice to have it returned and stop billing me or ever contact me again, as they are very rude to deal with on the phone- they will hang up on me after they tell me to just use and pay for the product. If they do not pick it up by January *, 2014 I will dispose of it.

Upon GVC's receipt of my complaint with the Revdex.com They were able to have the product picked up immediately. After lying to me that it wasn't returnable because it was a bacterial product. They do however continue to call wanting me to use the product. I will never use any product from this company or recommend them to anyone after their lies and deceitful sales tactics.

Review: My complaint is very similar to another one you have listed from 10/**/14. I was contacted by phone and told that this digestant would cost $8.00 to $9.00 per month for our size herd. The digestant we were using at that time was about twice that price so we decided to try a one year supply of the product. GVC sent us a three gallon pail of the product and a bill for $360.00. They called us and said the rest of the ordered product would be arriving in a couple weeks. We too were told the additional cost was startup cost because we needed to start with more product than it would take to maintain it in our manure pit. We then received two 50 lb. cardboard containers about the size of 5 gallon pails, followed by a bill for $1,380.00 and a phone call telling us we could split the payments into two monthly payments of $690.00. I told them that I wanted to return the product because that came out to $172.50 per month instead of the $8.00 or $9.00 per month that we agreed on to make our original order. They told us we couldn’t return it. Reluctantly I sent them the two $690.00 payments in November and December 2014.

They called again and said that two of the containers of my order were misdirected in shipment and they found them in Northern Wisconsin and were damaged but they were insured and they would be shipping me new replacements for the remaining two containers of my original order, I again requested a refund and was told that is not possible because of the insurance. After receiving those two 50 lb. containers they sent me a bill for $1,380.00. I called and asked what was going on, I too was passed from one person to another there, with the same voice, then told that the person on the sales bill would call me back and straighten out the misunderstanding. They called back days later wondering about their money, I told them I did not order more product and wanted to return all four pails, and again was told that they can not do that.

This company should be stopped, their deceitful, and dishonest sales and business tactics cannot go on, and should be stopped before others are defrauded. Besides that, I could not see that the pail of product that I did use had any effect on the crust of our pit that it was supposed to dissolve.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money I have paid the company $360.00 for the first pail I used in the first two months which was way over the $8.00 per month sale agreement, the $1,380 that I sent them Nov. and Dec. of 2014 for a TOTAL of $1,740.00 and remove the additional bill that they have for me now of $1,380.00. if they want the four unopened cardboard containers of their product back they can send a postage and insurance paid UPS address label including hazmat. certification for returning them and I will take them to a [redacted] shipping facility to return them if there is no cost to me. I obviously don't trust the GVC Industries for this either. An apology and reimbursement for time spent and frustration would be nice too.

Review: We were contacted from a cold call and were told this digestant would cost $8 per month. My husband decided to try it given it's price. After we received it, we found we were shipped (2) 5 gallon pails with a price tag of $1500. We contacted the company instantly to find out what was going on and were then told, "well there are start up costs", which was never disclosed to us at any time or we would NEVER have told them to ship it to us. Then we were told we could not return it so we ended up using it. It did not work whatsoever! Then on top of it they called incessently to pay the bill. We made a payment (partial) and were called the day after they cashed it to find out when the next payment would be made. They are scoundrels. Then when I called to tell them to back off and that we were making payment as quickly as we could, I got such a crazy run around. First a lady answered and I was told I could speak to someone until Wednesday and the call then got disconnected. I called back and a man answered and told me was the janitor and that the [redacted] would be back in 3 hours. I told him I wanted to speak with the woman who answered the phone 2 minutes prior and he said he would find her...20 seconds later a man (with ironically the same exact voice) gets on the phone and tells me he is the [redacted]. All very strange and messed and A HUGE SCAM!!! Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy this crap or allow yourself to get into any business with this shady company.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed and apologized to for the lying and deceitful sale of a product that was falsely advertised and shipped to us without our consent. We agreed to an $8/month product, not a $1600 one time sale.

Review: I live in rural OKlahoma and own a hog operation, this company is one that we have never heard of nor ever ordered a product from. I received an invoice in the mail yesterday 9/**/13 stating that we owed them $740 they have my address and the customer name on the invoice is some one we don't even know! the lady answering the phone at this place is rude and seams as if she is reading from a script. they have a net 30 account set up for me and I would think someone that far away would need a credit app or would want it paid for 1st I believe this company is scaming people they say they are a farm supply store but when you go to their website they only have 1 product? it is very odd the way they are treating me they couldnt look up anything while I was on the phone with them they kept telling me they would have to call me back and I wanted an answer e-mailed to me in writing the 1st thing that was sent to me was "The material was ordered and shipped in good faith by someone at farm there is no need for u to call fraud dept we are a legit company" I respondeds that it was not ordered nor received by anyone! The Invoice I received showes it was shipped UPS to my mailing address and like I said I live in rural oklahoma UPS & fed ex requires my physical address which has a completely different zip code! when I asked for a tracking or a signature showing where someone signed for the package they responded with "cant do that all of our customers are never around bzy fming so it was leftat farm"

Review: The company had contacted me via telephone soliciting the sale of a septic product. I told the sales rep on the phone that I was not interested in the product and didn't believe in such a product. On or about October [redacted], which was about two weeks after the phone solicitation, a courier delivers two packages, each weighing about 40 lbs. of the septic product that I refused to purchase. When I called the company to tell them I never ordered it, the GVC representative told me I must have and stated they do not take refunds and I would be billed for the septic product. He continued to add that if I failed to pay for the product they would turn it over to a collection agency.Desired Settlement: Removal of the product to be paid by GVC Industries; removal of our telephone number from their call list as they are never are allowed to contact us again; and an apology.

Review: Originally talked with company rep. named Joe. Was sent a sample of pit additive to try. The additive was not effective in our manure pits and the rep was REPEATEDLY TOLD THAT I DID NOT WANT ANYMORE. More of additive was sent via [redacted] invoice dated 7-*-15. Told [redacted] we did not want it and was told we had to take it up with company and 2 boxes were left on the farm. Bill was sent for $1480. Called GVC and was told we "had" accepted shipment and had to pay for it. I do not believe I signed for [redacted] delivery. Was threatened immediately with collection agency etc etc. They were to "look into it" and call back, never did. I have noted on my paperwork of at least two times we contacted them trying to resolve issue (dates I have include 7-**-15 and 7-**-15) Last time Jim was checking with [redacted] and was to call next day..never did. One of his deals was for us to pay S/H of $180 even though he claims he cannot except shipment back due to bio security issues. We had told him that the boxes had not been opened and that additive was in plastic bags so that should not be an issue. We do not feel we have to pay S/H for something we did not order. I have not been contacted since last call we made on 7-**-15Desired Settlement: We would like billing adjusted showing no payment due. If company wants product returned, they have to pay the postage and handling.

We would also like that company or affiliates of company ever contact us again.

IF COLLECTIONS AGENCY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED, GVC INDUSTRIES WILL CONTACT THEM AND CORRECT THE SITUATION WITH PAYMENT IN FULL NOTED AND OUR EXCELLENT CREDIT RESTORED
