The roof is leaking in 7 spots. We have notified the owner of H & M. They will not return our phone calls.
To Whom it may concern, 11/27/17
Despite the fact that damage was due to a hurricane, and not covered by warranty, on 11/11/17 the repairs were made and received confirmation from all parties the job was completed.
Revdex.com Dispute
On or about 10/31/17, I had a conversation with Gator Steel about this roof leaking. He explained it needed repair and ask for me to do the repairs. This was AFTER hurricane Harvey went through the area, and warranties do not cover acts of God, only defects of workmanship. I explained we were out of town and would be a few days until I could return. I was a sub contractor on this rood, also I informed the General Contractor ( Gator Steel) that he should tarp the roof to prevent further water damage until I could make it back from being out of town. After several rude calls and threats made issued by GATOR STEEL, we came to an agreement to repair the leaks at our expense despite not being covered by the waranty

H&M Const
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: State Farm went out and did an inspection and stated that it was not hurricane damage and that the damage is due to poor workmanship. then the product supplier came to the house and said that the product was installed improperly. The supplier showed us how the wrong product was used and spoke with *** as they convinced him to return and patch the roof according to the specifications on the product. the customer in turn had to pay a deductible to state farm to start repairs on the inside of the House. The customer will tell you that Gator Steel did purchase and install tarps over the roof to stop water from getting in her home until *** could get back to town and repair his poor workmanship. I do have pictures of the roof and the neglect of proper installation on the roof. The customer *** has requested from day one that she be paid back her deductible of 1,000.00. since the insurance company and the product company deemed *** was responsible for the lack of workmanship. The customer was promised by *** in person in front of witnesses that he was accepting responsibility and would pay her the 1,000.00 deductible and would do it in 1 week. It has been 3 weeks now and Mr. *** has not returned to pay the customer and is not returning any phone calls. The customer is now going to peruse an attorney to assist her in retrieving her deductible back from Mr. ***. The man purchased cheep insulation to make patches from and he walked of the job with products that were bought to be put on the roof. He has come back and repaired the patched correctly while speaking with *** telling her he is coming back to put 1 whole new coat on the roof and pay her the deductible. 3 weeks now and no return call. Gator Steel did have representatives at the site when Mr. went to do his patches. Pictures were taken of the correct installation process.
