Honeymoon Trail, The

I made reservations at this Inn for April 26-28, 2020. I made the reservations about 1.5 months ahead of time before notice of the Co-Vid 19 precautions. I called and spoke with the owner about the issues not being able to travel because of the restrictions, and he said I would loose my entire payment becuase of not being less than 60 days. I hated to loose almost $400 dollars, so I asked if we could change the dates. He said yes, but it had to be on the same days of the week. Well, the first dates were our anniversary. I am not off ordinarily on weekdays, so I had to pay extra for weekend days which I understood. The new dates were Oct. 15 and 16th, 2020. The Co-Vid precautions are still in effect, I am worried about the dates of being able to travel, so I called/emailed the owner to cancel the reservations and he wrote back he would refund but less $100 for his trouble. The VRBO site says 100% if more than 60 days notice. The owner had been very difficult to work with throughout this issue.
