J A Myers & Co

We called JA Myers & Co., to provide an estimate for painting the trim on our house. Mr. Myers arrived and talked about what the project would entail. He left our home and said he would provide an estimate in a couple of days. Approximately one week later we called and reached him on his cell phone. He said he would then drop it off that Friday . He never did provide the estimate and another week is going by. It appears that this is his way of telling us he doesn't want this job-- by ignoring us. Painting the trim on my house is complicated by the fact that I have a slate roof, which requires special care, so as not to break any expensive slate tiles. He said he's done it before and it's something that he could do. Upon seeing my house I sensed some dismay from him, nevertheless, he explained how he would go about navigating my roof to access the trim. Treating customers this manner is very unprofessional; he should be honest and clear about what he can and cannot do and not simply ignore a customer.
