Review: Wrong parts in pellet stove, rewired stove incorrectly, Possible of burning down my home.

Charged us three service calls aven not fixing original problem. Hired another contractor to fix problem. Said he put in new parts but just cleaned off old parts and charged us for new parts. Nevering answering his phone.

Advertising in the phone book and business cards his license XXXXX- no business license from country or contractor license?Desired Settlement: Money back on parts- Exchanged for return of parts.

I notified mr [redacted] that I had just a business lisence and no business lisence for toulumne county and he said that was fine to make it a personal deal so he didnt have to pay a company to do the work... I put NEW parts in, no re wiring was needed because of quick disconnect male/female., stove was very dirty inside and he said he would clean it so he didnt have to pay for it but never did, stove worked when I left but after an hour of him messing with it when I wasnt there the stove would quit working for some reason and mr [redacted] would call my cell phone 6-7 times a day I told him I would come when I got time,if I didnt call him right back he would harass my mother by calling my home phone as well... I met up with mr [redacted] to give him back the old parts but he refused to give me the new ones I put in the stove for a refund.. I let mr [redacted] know that I cant get a refund with out the parts and he said well thats fine he will keep them... so I have the old ones still... seems the customer (mr [redacted]) just wanted a cheap fix and wasnt happy that it cost him money... and there was never 3 servis calls cuz I only went there twice... he perfered to meet me at the highway not at the home., little weird to me...

Consumer states :

We have a Whitfield pellet stove. Called [redacted] @ [redacted] Tax Collector - no business license for last two years. J&J Stove Services was called because our pellet stove augar was not working. J&J got motor out of his car. He mentioned it needs only to spin in correct direction - not true needs to have correct amp to grind thru pellets which his motor did not and motor stopped every few minutes. He left after installation never staying to see if all worked. Came back to install blower, took blower back wired incorrectly per Splash - local pellet authorized Whitfield Stove Repair Co. - sprayed with lubricant so it was puddling outside pellet stove which splash said it would destroy winding if sprayed that much. Replaced hi-low switch. Before he installed so called new product, I saw dirt on switch. The same switch he took last visit. He mentioned it was new $45.00 part, the same dirt which was on my old one. He said he replaced other which came with blower? I want only to get back my money for motor, $160.00 & $200.00 for blower. He does not ever reply calls to his cell so I called his home which stated on business card was polite to mom/dad left message. If he doesn't want me to call home - don't list on business card. Reply like a professional if I would give parts back, he would never answer me. Can't return to distributor he modified parts and their dirty to try installation. Now he has parts and my money!
