Review: I came in asking for the price for an oil change. They told me $29.99, which is pretty standard. After finishing the oil change, the mechanic added a charge of $6.50 for "hazmats", and charged me $38.68 all together. When I asked him what that was all about, he told me that in PA., we need to dispose of all the old oil. When I asked a friend of mine in the area who went to another mechanic in the area, he told me that he was told $30, and he paid $30, and there was no hidden charge for disposal of hazmats. It is one thing if the local gov't mandates a surcharge on all hazmats that all mechanics must charge (which is clearly not the case here!), but don't quote me a price and then, after doing the work, add on a hidden charge which you didn't mention in your original quote.Desired Settlement: I honestly would have gone to my normal mechanic had I known this was going to happen. I would like at least a refund of the extra $6.50 plus the sales tax that he charged, and perhaps even a total refund. I feel that it is false advertising (they had a sign advertising that price) and would warn people about this place...
