HELLO,UPON RESEARCHING THIS COMPLAINT WE FOUND THAT MR [redacted] WAS TOLD THREE TIMES THAT THIS ORDER WAS COMING FROM J&B ASSOCIATES AND AT NO POINT WAS HE TOLD THE CALL WAS ON BEHALF OF OR FROM [redacted] MAGAZINEHIS PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED FEB9TH AND HIS ORDER WAS DOWNLOADED THAT WEEKWE ALSO CHECKED WITH THE PUBLISHER AND HIS ORDER IS BEING PROCESSEDIT DOES TAKE THEM APPROXIMATELY TO WEEKS TO POST AN ORDER TO A CUSTOMERS ACCOUNTWE HAVE CANCELLED HIS ORDER AND WILL ISSUE A REFUND WHICH WILL GO OUT TOMORROW APRIL 10THTHANK YOUJ&B ASSOCIATES

This was a renewal offer from a previously paid order under the name of Joan M [redacted] not Bob M [redacted] If you can get a better price then disregard the offer you got from J&B Associates Thank you J&B Associates

I have a subscription with a magazineIt's paid in full and I'm happy with it I continually get an 'invoice' from J&B AssociatesWhich usually starts with '4TH NOTICE!!' or "FINAL NOTICE"And has all the indications of a bill or debt Lost on this page it says 'subscription offer'It's clearly a scam, they have ZERO affiliation with any magazine companiesAnd are simply trying to frighten people into paying bills that don't exist The fact they have a B+ rating on Revdex.com when they have negative reviews is strange BUYER BEWARE

As with other reviews posted here, I was contacted by phone asking me to renew my subscription to a magazine to which I subscribeThe way the person talked, I thought the company was associated with the magazine itself, but have since found out that J & B Associates were the ones calling me and that they are not connected to the magazine itselfI told them I would not renew over the phone and to send me an invoice by mailWhen they did this, I saw that the invoice was from J & B Associates and got suspiciousI called the magazine directly and renewed my subscription (for a much lower price)I kept the invoice without doing anything for a while and received more invoices from them over the following monthGiven that I had already renewed, it became clear that J & B Associates was separate from the magazineI finally called J & B Associates directly to get them to stop mailing me invoicesI spoke with a lovely, polite woman and explained that I had already renewed directly with the magazineShe canceled my orderThe whole call took just a few minutes, and I consider the issue resolvedOn the basis of this, I would say I had no difficulty fixing the problem, but I would warn others that what I heard on the original phone call made me think I was on the path to renewing my current subscription with the magazine, whereas in fact I was agreeing to receive a "subscription offer" (as the invoice stated) that was with a different company at a higher price

Thank you for your recent inquiryAt this time we have no customer in our system by the name of [redacted] at the North loop addressThere are several companies that sell TV Guide so it is important to list the customers name as it appears on the invoice/subscription offerIf she wants her mother removed from any future offers it would help to have her information, not the daughtersThank youJ&B ASSOCIATES

Thank you for the additional informationThe notice in question was actually cancelled on Jan 10th by a phone call or note that was receivedWe have placed Ms *** on the do not contact listIf she receives any other offers from any of the other companies that sell this title just disregard themAs far as her age, that is not something that is known by any of the companies that sell this title. Thank you
