JBc Product Management, a [redacted] contracted installation vendor, came to deliver a kitchen range to my home. Upon arrival, they removed my old range to their truck. On the old range, with a black magic marker they wrote on the [redacted] panel, on the cooking top surface, and on oven door. JBc proceeded to hook-up the electrical cord into my new range before installing. Next, the installers informed me that they needed to install "tilt brackets" into my floor. I was surprised by this request. [redacted] never informed me of this when I purchased the range. I initially declined the tilt-brackets but was informed that they were required by State law. I asked the installers for the law number so I could look this up on the Internet, but they were unable to provide this information. I finally agreed to the installation of the brackets. When I informed them that I had a cement floor & asked if they had the expertise to install into this type of floor, they said they could only install into a wood floor. I asked why no one ever (JBc and or [redacted]) asked me about my floor type before I purchased the range. They were at a loss for words and had me talk to their supervisor via phone. I asked her why the installers lacked the skill to install into cement. I told her that I couldn't be the only person in the area with this type of floor. I never received an answer to my question. She also told me the installer were leaving without installing the new range and that I would have to deal with the [redacted] manager. Of course, I told her I was not pleased with her response. I asked the installers to move my old range back into my kitchen. They told me "no"! It was a liability to do this. They put it in my garage. I asked them what they were going to do about the magic marker writing on my range. They just looked at me and walked away but then came back to ask me to sign a piece of paper that I was refusing the new stove delivery. I told them I would sign, after they write on the document that "JBc Product management, a subsidiary company of R&S Appliance Installations Inc. whose headquarters is located in Clovis, CA., does not have the skill set to install tilt brackets into my cement floor and is canceling my installation". The installer just looked at me and walked away again.
