Review: I spoke to [redacted] the president of the company about work I needed on my roof, I told him I wanted the trim around a vent pipe replaced and have an aluminum flashing around it because of possible leaks, currently the vent pipe only has black tar around it. I even showed him my neighbors vent pipe which was properly installed with aluminum flashing and he stated that would be no problem to replace. Also I had nails that were coming up all along the

roof and that was also promised to be fixed, he stated they would remove the loose nails and put caulking to secure the shingles. Finally the last piece which is the only one that was done it took less than one hour to complete the job for which I was charged $850.00. I feel [redacted] was deceptive and feel I have been taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to come back and finish the vent pipe flashing properly and remove all the loose nails as was promised.

In response to complaint from Mr. [redacted], it is our opinion that the complaint is totally unfounded. We were hired to do an emergency repair which included, sheathing in a hole from an old chimney that had previously been removed, cutting back rafter to rafter to make a structural repair, also traveling to several suppliers to match his existing green shingle color. Mr. [redacted] called us for the Emergency repair because his roof was left wide open and rain was in the forecast. I took 3 Carpenters from another job to immediately accommodate him. The repair was completed in 2 ½ hours with 3 men. I suggested to him when he paid the bill that he should have the vent pipe flashing replaced when he reroofed. His current roof is in dire need of replacement. We did apply some sealant at the vent pipe flange which was near the hole we repaired free of charge to try to buy him some time. There was nothing ever mentioned about loose nails. I assume he may be referring to the curling on his existing shingles, showing signs of age. Mr. [redacted] paid for the structural emergency repair, not sealant on his old vent pipe flashing or anything else. We are happy to do whatever we can to make our customers happy, however it is unfair to be unjustly slandered by someone who is trying to get something for nothing.
