 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This claim is still not resolved as we are awaiting repairs so Suddath can reimburse for the labor costs (it's going to take awhile to order all the parts and get that process started). Terrence and Lacey have done a great job communicating with me and keeping me informed. I have recieved reimbursement for everything I have paid out of pocket so far and the repair shop also recieved a check so they can begin to order the parts.
Regards,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  This response was no different than their previous response.  The inconvenience of them putting me out of business for a month is worth a lot more than $91.00/night + $47/day food.  It is not ok for a company to not deliver on the service promised, put someone out of business because of it and claim no responsibility for it.  They didn't even apologize.  The fact that the letter came from the legal team says a lot about the company and how they do not care about their customers.
Regards,

To Whom It May Concern,   This response is tendered on behalf of Suddath Van Lines, Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries, including Suddath Relocation Systems of Jacksonville, Inc. (collectively, “Suddath”) in response to Revdex.com Complaint [redacted] (the “Complaint”).  ...

In the Complaint, Ms. [redacted] alleges that the U.S. Army engaged Suddath to provide transportation, storage, and/or related services in connection with the relocation of Ms. [redacted]’s family.  Ms. [redacted] asserts that her family’s household goods were to be transported and delivered to her at destination no later than June 21, 2017.  As her family’s household goods have not yet arrived at destination, Ms. [redacted] requests that her family’s household goods be delivered as soon as possible.   Due to increased volume demands presented by the relocation industry’s peak season and capacity limitations resulting from an industry-wide shortage of available, qualified drivers, and despite Suddath’s best efforts, Suddath was unable to coordinate transportation and delivery of Ms. [redacted]’s household goods prior to June 21, 2017.  However, Ms. [redacted]’s shipment is now underway to its final destination, with delivery targeted for July 12, 2017 or July 13, 2017.   Suddath’s customer service representatives have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] throughout this process and are continuing to communicate and coordinate with her regarding the status of her shipment.  Further, Suddath’s customer service team has presented Ms. [redacted] with the information necessary to pursue an inconvenience claim, if she wishes to do so.       Suddath hopes this response is helpful to the Revdex.com. Should the Revdex.com need additional information from Suddath, please contact Suddath’s Legal Department.   Very truly yours,     Suddath Legal Department [redacted]

response to the Revdex.com complaint [redacted].   Suddath shipped a container from Jacksonville, FL to Honolulu, HI for [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] is looking to receive compensation for her damaged items.   Although it was offered to her, Ms. [redacted] did not purchase insurance through Suddath. Suddath emailed Ms. [redacted] on August 14, 2015, advising her of the total cost of her shipment and the type of insurance policy she could purchase if she wanted coverage for her goods. Ms. [redacted] left the high value inventory form blank and did not request additional insurance for her goods. Accordingly, the released value defaulted to $0.60 per pound for her goods.      As stated on the Bill of Lading in Section 16.3, “Carrier shall be discharged of all liability unless suit is brought against the Carrier within one year from the date of delivery or the date on which the goods should have been delivered.” As also stated in Section 16.2, “if notice in writing is not given to Carrier within 3 days after the day when the goods were delivered to Merchant by Carrier”, the goods will be considered in good order and condition. Ms. [redacted] failed to submit a claim within the specified time frame.   Suddath hopes this response is helpful to the Revdex.com when investigating this claim. Should you find that you need additional information from Suddath, please let me know.   Very truly yours,     [redacted]
