** [redacted] The person who came too look at my refrigeator and charge me alot to fix it and gave me a 30 day warrenty but the company does not return calls, or answer pick up the phone. [redacted]

Review: Found on [redacted] in san diego for appliance repair, came out to fix fridge said needed 2 parts, asked for non refundable deposit and only cash, came back with someone else and only replaced 1 part, said to wait 24 hours for fridge to start cooling, has been over 3 weeks and no longer answers phone, finally the owner [redacted] picked up and said to call back that he would ask office? Asked for # for office gave [redacted], said to hold hung up. Ad and receipt states 5 years parts warranty? Just found on yelp with all negative reviews. Tried to look up business license and none.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my 215.00 refunded back

Review: Our refrigerator stopped working and the repairman Sam came 6 or 7 different times over 2 weeks to replace various parts such as a solenoid starter, then a compressor, then a motherboard, then diagnosing a freon leak. We paid a total of $625 for the parts and service, and the frige is still not working. It is unclear which parts needed to be replaced. We are constantly calling to Sam to come back and he rarely shows up on the day he said he would come. The invoice shows a 5 years warranty on labor. Because the business only accepts cash or check, we are unable to recover our $625 in addition to the wasted food due to the frige not working.Desired Settlement: If we cannot get a full refund, we would like at least for the repair to finally fix the frige.

Review: [redacted] or JC appliance repair service advertises in [redacted] and claims to be licensed and experienced appliance repair. He also offers 5 years of warranty. He misdiagnosed my GE refrigerator. Kept us without one for two weeks in the heat of the San Diego summer. Replaced parts that were not needed and charged me $400.00. After many failed promises by him, I was forced to pay another qualified technician to come to repair it. The problem was simple and totally unrelated to the parts he changed. He then agreed to refund me. Its been almost two months since he has been trying to mail me my refund check. He has been lying about mailing me my refund check. his phone is ###-###-####Desired Settlement: full refund

Review: I gave a deposit for the ordering of the appliance part prior to any service being done.

They disappeared. No part ordered, no service done. $100 was stolen.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back as no service ever took place and no part was ordered. It's been more than 3 weeks.

Review: The service was called over a month a go to fix a frig while fixing it did the estimate then was paid. Then said " there was more issue with the frig so I need to revise estimate. I will need to get my supplies and come back to fix it. After a few days never came back so I called they said I will come next week never did come back. So called them few times through the month but either no answer or answering machine. When I get a person they say they are going to fix it. After month what said was done was not and got paid for not a complete job.Desired Settlement: Since it was not complete they should complete the job as stated on their statement since it was over month what else should be complimentary service to finish the job.

Review: On Saturday, Aug 10, 2013, I asked JC Appliance Repair to have a look at my refrigerator because it was not cooling. A man named [redacted] was dropped off by a young lady who was driving an older civilian car. [redacted] said the company van wasn't working and he needed to be dropped off. He spend a little time there and somehow determined that the mother board was bad, but it was available and he would be back first thing Monday morning to replace it. Without calling, he said the part plus repair would cost $360 and he needed a $200 deposit. I wrote him a check and he provided me invoice no. [redacted]. I took Monday off from work, but he never showed. Customer service kept pushing back the time I could expect him. I went to work the next day but had to leave a little early because he was to come Tues at around 15:00. He came by around 18:30 - with the wrong part. The good news was that he could that his supplier had the correct part. He didn't come back Thurs or Friday and finally on Friday told me he couldn't get the part but would come back and reinstall the bad part and button everything up. I told him no worrries, he didn't need to come back since I was just going to turn the refer in when I bought a new one. He said thanks and that he would make sure the main office returned my deposit less $20.00 troubleshooting fee. I said but the problem and solution weren't diagonised correctly - since I was told the problem could be fixed, but of course it couldn't. Anyway, we hung up with the understanding that I would at least get some of my deposit back. I have continually called them to ask for the deposit and it is either "I will check on this and get back to you" and they NEVER call back, or that I should expect the check on a certain day, which of course never comes.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. Thanks for your help - hopefully you will have more success than me. Appreciate whatever you can do!

Review: I called them to fix my washer, and discussed the two issues I was having with it. I was assured one issue was a plumbing issue (nothing to do with the machine itself) and that the other issue was a broken belt. He didn't have the proper belt so he left to go pick up the right one. Before he left he required a cash deposit of $85, (total job quoted was $175) which I thought was odd but paid anyways; the rest I paid with a check after the job was done. When he returned to "fix" my machine, he told me that the other issue I had was not due to the plumbing but related to the washer after all, and instead of the initial quote of $175 it would be an additional $280, totaling $455. I said no, because it didn't feel right that he changed his mind about what was wrong with my machine. It turned out the washer wasn't fixed at all. I called back to complain, and the operator said the owner, Julian Camancho, would fix it for the cost of the parts, and not charge labor, for a cost of $135. The was to appease the earlier confusion with the diagnosis of what was wrong with the machine. So I agreed. After getting the run around for 10 days (they never once called me back when they said they would, 9 phone calls total), excuse after excuse about the part not getting ordered, the part being distributed to a different warehouse, the part not coming in on time, the computer having a gliche with noting the part was there but not, etc. I decided to demand a refund of my $175 since services were not delivered properly; in fact my washer is worse off now than before. I mentioned small claims court if I did not receive my money and now they will not pick up my phone calls. I believe I've been blocked. Completely unprofessional. Found them on craigslist and I think they may be a scam. They need to be stopped; they cannot rob any more people of their money!Desired Settlement: I would like my money back ($175) as well as publicizing this information as widely as possible. People need to be aware of these corrupt individuals!!

Review: On Sunday, July 20th I called JC Appliance Repair and spoke to a man named [redacted] who stated he could fix our dryer. The dryer was not tumbling. He came to the house along with a man named [redacted] and took the dryer apart and put on a new dryer belt. The dryer would still not spin so he said it needed a new motor. He said he needed a $100 deposit and would return the next day with a new motor. I gave him $100 cash and he provided me with a receipt and said the total cost would be $245 and I could pay the remaining $145 the following day once the repair was completed. The following day I could not reach him until evening time and he stated he did not have the motor yet and would come the next day. On Tuesday, July 22nd he finally arrived at my house around 7pm with his partner, [redacted]. They worked on the dryer and around 8:30 they said they were finished so I paid the remaining $245 (I had no change so I gave them $250) and they left. I did one load of laundry, placed the laundry in the dryer and after 4 minutes, the dryer stopped working as well as the washing machine. Half the lights in the house went dead as well. I called [redacted] back and he said "this is not Sam." I recognized his voice that it was. I told him he needed to come and fix the dryer immediately as I paid him and he stated there is a 5 year warranty on the service. Around 10pm, Sam, [redacted] and another individual arrived at my house and [redacted] looked at the dryer while [redacted] paced around his car that was parked in front of my house. They were speaking in another language and [redacted] seemed upset. I was home alone and beginning to feel scared at the escalation in their tone of voice and requested a refund and for them to leave as I was feeling uncomfortable. At that time I notified them I read reviews on YELP and they were not favorable. At this time, [redacted] became very angry and [redacted] hopped in the car and they started leaving. [redacted] slammed on the breaks got out of the car and flipped me off and threatened me.Desired Settlement: I paid $250 cash to a man named [redacted] and have receipts to show this. I am requesting the full $250 paid in cash to be returned to me.
