I went in for an engine code read. He proceeded to "fix" the repair and when I picked up my car the problem was not fixed, at all!
I received a check engine light on 11/19/2013. I took my 2005 Ford Escape into JC Auto for a code scan. [redacted] told me it was a PO351 & PO353. He then charged me $434.23 on 11/20/2013 to fix the repairs (2 bad coils). When my husband picked up my car, Mr. [redacted] told him the problem was not solved, handed him the keys, an invoice and a service bulletin for the problem. When I was reading the service bulletin it states not to change Ignition coils if those codes are present.
