J Crew 506

Review: J.Crew has been holding my clothing hostage in their warehouse due to a dispute regarding a warranty over a year ago. I want a refund for the damaged clothing that I sent back to them to initiate a warranty refund. J.Crew refuses to send the refund and claim that it was wear and tear which is ridiculous as most of the clothing has never been worn and the one suit that has been worn was worn once. J.Crew is not willing to honor their warranty for clothing that was not available in their store to try on.Desired Settlement: I made a considerable investment in the clothing that I thought was the best quality which did not turn out to be the truth. I was provided poor advice from the sales people who do not have a good grasp of sizing for clothes that they do not carry.

I want a refund for the clothes that are clearly not repairable. The amount of the refund is 13,300 and I would prefer the amount in a cashier's check but would accept it in a gift card. J.Crew attempted to hold my clothes hostage in order to collect on a J.Crew account that was recently deleted and cancelled. This is conversion and J.Crew is outside of their rights to keep the clothes and not refund the money that I paid in full with gift cards.
