Complaint[redacted] stole $3054.00 by falsifying invoices for products we never received. He still has not paid us back.STOLE $3054.00[redacted] was contracted to put lights in our house. [redacted] supplied false invoices/receipts saying he was buying materials. We never received the products or service, or our money back. We have contacted him numerous times but he has yet to return the money.FALSIFIED INVOICES[redacted] made fake invoices by duplicating [redacted]. He used these invoices to pretend he purchased the lighting products to get money. [redacted] CONFIRMED INVOICES ARE FAKE.[redacted] confirmed that they did not sell these products to [redacted]: they have no invoices that he purchased these products and pointed out that he fabricated the invoices: he used incorrect order numbers, invoice headers names, and fonts to recreate the invoices.Desired SettlementA cashier's check for $3054.00.

Mr. [redacted] stole my elderly parents' deck, as well as swindled them out of money and did not complete job.My elderly parents hired Mr. [redacted] for contractor services in 2013. He removed a deck valued at $6000 from their property to "repair and take off site for the room needed" (they live on 4 acres). When my mother told me he had asked for more money and was not completing jobs, we called the bank within an hour of her writing him a check, in which he had already cashed. He failed to show up on the job. We immediately called him, then the City of Olive Branch, MS to complain. He is not a licensed contractor in this area. He did not pull any permits, though charged my parents an extreme amount for doing so. In a meeting with the City Bldg. Inspector, he promised to return the deck or pay the amount back for a new deck and finish job. My parents dismissed him because we were not sure what he was capable of, after his web of lies. He came to my parents' house and collected his equipment, but never returned the deck or made good with his promises. We later saw on the local news he had done this to other people in the Memphis area. This whole incident was wrong and really stressed my poor parents out, which has had lasting consequences to their health and pocketbooks. Desired Settlement$10,000 to rebuild deck and pay for the new contractor to complete out the remainder of the job he did not finish.
