I think these men were great regardless of the Revdex.comThey were later and kept in touchWhen they came all problems were solved and I was moved in No timecircumstances out of their control caused a delay, but they handled the problem quickly and did what they said they would doHopefully I am not moving anytime soon but I would call them again for sure

J&D Moving handled my move, resulting in damaged property, an inflated bill, debris left at the premises, and non-responsivenessness by the owner.
I contacted J&D Moving (along with companies) prior to my scheduled move in late October. However, I decided to use J&D Moving Co. based on a referral by a friend/coworker, and also based on the fact that the company is locally owned. When I contacted the owner ([redacted]) and provided him with details of the move, and items to be moved, I was advised that the move would require three persons. This conversation took place prior to [redacted] providing me with a quote for the move. On the day of the move (10/29/2013), the foreman/driver contacted me to obtain directions to my residence. I at that time inquired as to whether or not there were three movers for the move. The foreman stated that [redacted] had not told him that three movers were needed, but that he'd handle it. The foreman and a second mover arrived in a company truck and company shirts, while a third (last-minute) mover arrived in street clothes and in his personal vehicle. Everything went fine at the first location, but started to slow down once we made it to a storage unit, and then to my new residence. During the move, I was inappropriately asked questions related to my finances, i.e. asked how much I paid for certain items in my home; comments were made about the fact that I had fireproof safes (which contain only paperwork), with one movers stating, "You must have a lot of money"; and when I asked if one of the movers could put together my (brand new) bed frame, the foreman responded, "Make it rain." While the movers were bringing items/boxes into my residence, I was busy moving the boxes to the appropriate room and/or advising the movers where to place the furniture. Therefore, I did not have the opportunity to inspect my items as they were brought in. Upon conclusion of the move, I was advised by the foreman that I needed to pay additional charges for the third mover, despite him mentioning nothing of that nature at any point upon arrival or during the move. He then modified the original estimate provided to me by the owner ([redacted]). I did not agree with this, but did not want to engage in an argument while alone in my home with three men, one who self-admitted to having a criminal history. Upon their departure, I discovered that my shredder had been completely broken. I still have not been able to locate a toddler chair belonging to my son, and most of my large furniture items were damaged in some way (i.e. scratches, scrapes, gouges, etc.). This includes a brand new bedroom set dresser and a dining room set (delivered directly from the furniture store to the storage unit completely covered and never moved), and my son's dresser and bed (only a few years old and also delivered directly from the store to my home and never moved). I am also continuing to find damages to date. Additionally, upon the movers leaving, I discovered that they had left debris/trash in the stairway and parking lot to include shredded paper from the broken shredder, plastic wrappings, and empty cups. When I attempted to contact the owner, he became defensive and stated that if I had any problems, I should have told the movers at the time. He later advised me via email (about a week after the move) that he would provide me with a partial refund. However, to date, I have received no such refund. When I attempted to follow-up with [redacted], I received absolutely no response. While I am disappointed by the physical damage to my property, which was either done deliberately or out of a callus disregard for others' belonging, even more disappointing is the response that I received from the owner/company when I attempted to relay my experience and concerns. What I received was defensiveness, non-responsiveness, or blatant lies as the movers alleged that my furniture was "beat up" furniture prior to the move. There was no ownership of any of the issues and to date no resolution regarding the matter. I did find the movers to be friendly; however I would never use this company again.
