Like stated before Mr.& Mrs [redacted] hired us for two services one for are consulting services and second for our construction servicesYes the [redacted] canceled our constructions service agreement after we came up with a settlement with Statefarm insurance company ( work that took a year and a half to complete where the [redacted] were happy with the final dollar amount )After we came up with the final settlement (consulting services) Mr [redacted] called and asked when we could get started on there projectI stated right after we finish our current project, about a week to a week and ahalf we will be moving on to yoursAt that time Mr [redacted] was disturbed and angry wondering why we weren't working on his property right awayI explained to Mr [redacted] that we will once we complete the current project we are onTwo days after our conversation I received a call from my dumpster vender stating some gal had called in wanting a dumpster picked up at Mr& Mrs [redacted] addressI said no we will be working out there next week and I will call the [redacted] to see if they called or notMrs [redacted] did answer and I asked if she had called the dumpster company? Mrs [redacted] responds was I'll have to call you back laterI didn't receive a call but two days later I received a email stating that the [redacted] wanted to cancel our construction servicesSo I tried to reach out by phone to find out why? or what changed your mind? No response again for a couple days, then I received a email stating they wanted a full refund or they would write a letter to the Revdex.com and file a small claims in Anoka countyI was very shocked by this since I have been working with both Mr& Mrs [redacted] for a year and a half on there claim.Yes, we did send out our final bill for our consulting service and the fee for the dumpster that was not used ( by Mr& Mrs [redacted] choice)After finding out that [redacted] were canceling our services

Mr& Mrs*** had hired us for two services, one for a consulting service ( priced is based off a percentage of toal project cost) second is our construction services ( price is based off of written bid)After we came up with a settlement with the insurance company, a
year and a half later the *** choose to cancel the construction contract agreementAt this time we had materials ordered and on standby for delivery dumpster onsite and permit pulledWe have a unpaid balance owed to us in the amount of $by the *** for our services that will be sent to collections at the end of the month

JHempel Services did a fantastic job of replacing our drive-way, sidewalk and front
stepsWe were always made to feel comfortable when asking questions of the owner
and all of his sub-contractorsWhen we think of JHempel Services we think: timely,
professional, honest, and punctualWe will highly recommend this company for all of your construction needs

I am rejecting this response because:As stated previously, our contract with Mr*** was for work to begin on or before June 2017.Mr*** took $as a down payment for work to be performed and he defaulted on that contractDuring the month of June we had a number of conversations with Mr*** not just about the start date but about an update the city needed.After busting the contracted start date he would not commit to an alternate dateHe promised to start “the next week” several times and then did notWe went as far to schedule an appointment to meet the evening of June to discuss the project and he did not show up for the meeting.Finally, on July 5, 2017, during a telephone conversation as to why the city had not received information that Mr*** told us he had provided to them, he admitted he had other jobs and couldn’t just drop those to talk to the city.It was clear to us at that point he would say anything to push us off and had no problem being dishonest with usOn July 8, we notified Mr*** we were terminating the contract and requested he return our deposit within daysHe did not and on July we received invoices in excess of our deposit for services he had not been contracted for.Since filing this complaint with the Revdex.com Mr *** has left several voicemails threatening to send his fraudulent billing to a collections agency
