Review: Paid for three days of parking at J.M.J.'s W10th street lot; $16 in total (sign lists daily rate as $4). $16 was paid to the collection box on day #1, car was towed on morning of day #3. Spoke with a attendee asking why car was towed if full fair was paid, attendee did not have an explanation. Tried contacted J.M.J., was asked to leave number with attendee, never received call from manager. Had to pay for release of car from impound $110.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of $110 requested (cost of tow and impound due to J.M.J. error)

Review: I paid the monthly parking due for Dec. 2013 in the amount of $115 on 12/01, but on 12/11 I had to leave town for Florida. My vehicle was out of the lot, however I did not have my vehicle with me in Florida (with the parking pass) and the vehicle has not returned to the parking lot since that date (12/11). I had called several parking attendants to ask if the parking for that month could be refunded for the prorated amount (20 days in December= $76.60) for the days my vehicle was not parked there. I also asked if it was ok to return the parking pass upon my return, since I was still in Florida and did not have the pass on me to mail it to them. The attendant I spoke to said he got approval from the owner regarding turning my pass in when I return on 12/27. Several weeks later I received a check for only $25, which was the deposit for the parking tag. I had asked the attendants why I didn't get the prorated amount back and they had decided to call the owner while I was there and the owner said that "Since the pass wasn't returned on 12/11, the day the car was out of the lot, then there isn't anything I can do about it." There are several problems with this statement:1. This information is not visible for any customers to see at the time of purchase nor is verbally mentioned. 2. The attendants said that this wasn't a problem because it wasn't possible to mail the pass back to Cleveland while I was in Florida during the time. (Hence the reason the pass wasn't returned when I left) 3. The parking lot monitors the lot every day and they told me they have on record that my vehicle was NOT in the lot since the date presented.4. The actual pass was returned on December 27, 2013. (If this is the case, then there is still money to be owed for those 4 days in December regardless of this "made up rule." The FACT is that I was not parked in the lot after December 11, and the attendants said they have record of this and in all fairness should receive a refund of the prorated amount.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded back the $76 for the prorated amount for December otherwise I will not be returning to this lot nor will my boyfriend with any of his monthly payments in the future based on principles and poor business practices.
