Review: On June 30, 2015 Smith & Sons installed/upgraded my alarm system in my home and charged $624.79. This included wireless window detector switches in two of my bedrooms. Smith & Sons returned on July 20,2015 to install four window contacts and one glass break and charged me $572.00. Everything worked well for about one month. On Sept. 6, 2015 Smith & Sons came out and installed a keypad for $136.00 Then the alarm control center noted one of the bedroom windows was not armed when the alarm was set. Smith & Sons returned on Sept. 11, 2015 and replaced the wireless window detector switch because the cover tamper on the window switch was not on all the way (they glued it down when it was installed). The window was never opened and the detector switch was never touched by me or anyone in my home. Smith and Sons sent me an invoice in the amount of $114.00 (Invoice #9021).Desired Settlement: I would like to request a zero balance on Invoice #9021 as I feel Smith & Sons should replace the wireless window detector switch which was less than 90 days old and which was never touched by me or anyone in my household.
