I've been using the accounting services of JV Accounting for over 15 years now. In the beginning, I had income from a 40 hour/week job as well as a small business. Later I had some issues with the Federal Government and then some late 1040 filings from 2013 and 2014. Judith and her staff from day one, have quickly and very accurately compiled my tax returns from some sloppy record keeping, excessive deductions and have gone to bat for me with the IRS. Judith has always put my best interest ahead of any red flags that I may have set off at the IRS. She is as knowledgeable as any CPA that I have ever worked with and stays up on the cutting edge of all new tax laws. She has been a wealth of information in guiding me through the building of my small home based contracting business. Most of my questions have been answered off the top of her head and she has always given me the pros and cons of my options. I feel in very good hand at JV Accounting and have no plans to ever take my business elsewhere. The fee is very fair for the load I have piled on them and has not changed since the first year I started with them. I feel that I got very lucky finding them. If you're looking for a new accountant, I highly recommend trying JV Accounting. Oh, and they have been voted as the #1 accounting firm in Yakima for something like 8 or 9 years in a row now.
