Review: The valet parking desk at the JW Marriott overcharged us by one day when we checked out on the morning of July 18,2013. I spoke to the manager of the valet parking twice and spoke to the manager of the JW Marriott Hotel about the overcharge. Promises were made to refund the overcharge but after more than six business days, our refund had not been made. The valet parking ticket number is: [redacted]. The dates are July 13, 2013 to July 17,2013. We are ** & [redacted]Desired Settlement: We simply would like our credit card (which Marriott has on file) to credited with the overcharge.

We sent **. [redacted] an email on July 31st with a copy of the folio from the credit card merchant transaction to show the amount had been returned. The parking credit will be on his account.

Review: checked into jw marriott on 4/21/13 have our bags ([redacted] to bell hops and was told they would get them to our room. that did not happen and we had to go home the following morning because my blood pressure medicine was in my bag. We have been giving stories about how they are looking for our bags that can not be believed!!! We want our belongings back now!!!!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: our entire belongings sent to us over nighted!!!!!!

She was also informed that she will be compensated for the value of her trip as stated per her company. She will be receive a check in the amount of $1500.00

She said that she is satisfied with this resolution.

I Would have accepted their offer if we actually received it. Getting the run around again! Just like our luggage!

Response:

Guest was contacted by Marriott Claims on 5/16/2013. It was broght to the attention of claims the check had been sent to the wrong address. Guest has agreed to compensation, signed a waiver, and a new check has been issued and sent to the guests home address. Guest is aware of mistake.

I spoke with [redacted] today. The check had been processed but sent to their employer’s home office. I had to re-issue the check and sent to his home address, which he provided. They did sign the release. The check will be mailed tomorrow via regular mail. Thanks.
