Subject: Formal Complaint against Jackson Flooring & Home Improvement, 220 Overton Rd. Raeford N.C. XXXXX (XXX)XXX-XXXX.I am writing to file a formal complaint against Jackson Flooring & Home Improvement for failure to honor his warranty for the Tile Floor he installed in my home. On July 12, 2013 my wife and I hired Mr. [redacted] of "Jackson Flooring & Home Improvement" to install a tile floor in our Master Bathroom. The work was scheduled and begun on July 15, 2013 and was completed on July 18, 2013. Around 15 December 2013 we begin to notice loose tiles, cracking grout, and grout separating from the floor. We attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] for the next 30 days with no success. We finally make contact with Mr. [redacted] on or about January 16, 2014. Mr. [redacted] finally conducted a site visit at our home around the 2nd of February 2014 . Mr. [redacted] stated during this visit that he knew exactly what happen. He went on to state he remember telling his employee (which he has fired and no longer work for him) he applied to much water to the floor after laying the grout. Mr. [redacted] stated this is what has cause this problem. Mr. [redacted] then stated that he would re-do all the grout in the bathroom and correct the issue with the loose tile. From this point three appointments were coordinated to correct the problem over the next two months and Mr. [redacted] fail to show up for each appointment. Several text have been received from Mr. [redacted] acknowledging the agreement of the warranty he agreed to and continues to promise to stand behind his work. Mr. [redacted] was paid $1,116.69 for the installation of this floor and the service he has provided has fail to last six month. We feel that this type of business is unacceptable and this is why we have decided to bring this issue to the attention of the Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] has been given ample amount of time to correct this problem and has fail to return and correct the problem. Any assistance you can provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated. We acknowledge and accept the lost of $650.00 for the material that we purchased for Mr. [redacted] to install. The floor will have to be taken up and redone by another company.
